Challenge 1: Go the ******** to Sleep
milk cap (Sheenah) Style: 6/10 ... Creativity: 5/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 8/10 Comments: Overall it's pretty 'meh' (seen lingerie before), but she supported it pretty well in her description.
iiiFlames (Chloe) Style: 5/10 ... Creativity: 6/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 4/10 Comments: I liked how she used other items to manipulate the avatar to pose the way she wanted. Description was confusing. But I think I got the jist of it.
AmberEmma (Wanda) Style: 5/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 9/10 ... Description: 7/10 Comments: This is adorable! What she lacked in style, she made up for in creativity. The big picture is what is important here.
Dante Dolly (Melissa) Style: 7/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: Partnered with the background and soda cans, it paints a very clear picture. The description was brilliant.
Tink_Bel (Helen) Style: 9/10 ... Creativity: 6/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 5/10 Comments: The design is cute and I love the teddy bear and stars motif. Her description could have used more words ... She had the key points in there, but it felt like she'd rushed while writing it.
Kiari_Luveniar (Madeline) Style: 8/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 4/10 Comments: This is so cute. Most of the model is barred from view, but it makes sense for the theme. Description needs a lot of work - we don't learn a thing about her process while reading it.
Alesaan (Sarah) Style: 6/10 ... Creativity: 7/10 ... Subject: 9/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: The design wasn't my favourite - looked a little frumpy. But her description is on point!!
elphiethesane (Chantal) Style: 5/10 ... Creativity: 6/10 ... Subject: 6/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: The look itself seems cluttered, but I liked the description, especially concerning the song title.
Ultrabord (Danielle) Style: 7/10 ... Creativity: 10/10 ... Subject: 9/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: Very creative! It's relatable to many women (and men) and the description sums it all up.
SortaKindaMaybe (Amaya) Style: 9/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 7/10 ... Description: 7/10 Comments: Beautiful image of a beautiful model. I wish she would have explained her use of the items a bit more to tie in the task itself.
Princess of the Raindrops (Mariah) Style: 6/10 ... Creativity: 7/10 ... Subject: 7/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: The blues are a little mismatched, but it doesn't take too much away from the overall outfit. Loved how she gave personality to the model in the first paragraph and explained the outfit in the second. This is the kind of description everyone should shoot for.
HCTotorro (Nicki) Style: 6/10 ... Creativity: 7/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 7/10 Comments: I think this description might be about me!! I love the description and although it expresses feeling, it doesn't tell us why she used the items pictured. Why such a simple outfit?
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ella) Style: 5/10 ... Creativity: 10/10 ... Subject: 5/10 ... Description: 6/10 Comments: Didn't see this coming!! I adore how she thought outside of the box, but it hurt her in subject matter. If she'd added a few more things to give the illusion that perhaps 'Ella' had perished at night and wrote about that in the description, she could have been scored much higher.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WhyYesh (Lisa) Style: 0/10 ... Creativity: 0/10 ... Subject: 0/10 ... Description: 0/10 Comments: Audition was far from best, but better than many STILL IN the competition.
They accepted their model, wished me luck with judging, but there's only one guild post made Sat 02/03/18 08:02:22 PM.
Spectacular_Blueberry (Clara) Style: 0/10 ... Creativity: 0/10 ... Subject: 0/10 ... Description: 0/10 Comments: Beautiful audition. I was expecting great things from her and even told her as much. The fact that she didn't submit anything shocks and saddens me.
She accepted her spot, she's still in the guild, her latest post was Fri 02/09/18 11:25:26 AM.

Challenge 1: Go the ******** to Sleep
milk cap: 4/10 While I like the theme of the design, it feels really lackluster to me. The colors work well and the composition is nice and uncluttered, bu that's just it - there's really no detail or feature that makes this stand out to me. It's very average. The description is nice and all, but in my opinion there could have been a lot more done, especially with a lingerie theme. As it is... you can visibly tell the model is wearing a total of four items, three if you don't include the background. ...By the way, not to nitpick, it's not a 'whip sort of thing', it's a riding crop.
iiiFlames: 6.5/10 I do like it quite a lot, but I'm a bit disappointed they couldn't find another mask to complement the legs they used. The offblack is really distracting to me, and at first I thought it was an eyepatch with how it layered under Chloe's bangs. However, I'm not one to wear matching pajamas all the time either, so I can let it go. Other than that minor nitpick, this is a very cute - if very safe - submission.
AmberEmma: 7.5/10 I'm really enamored by this. The morning light shining through the window reads well on the avatar, and the feeling of cuddling with a stuffed animal while watching the sunrise is something creative that I definitely wouldn't have thought of. I do like the description, and it feels evocative of the theme and supports the submission.
Dante Dolly: 8/10 When I first saw this submission I was like, Yes! This is something I wanted to see! Dante Dolly's Melissa here looks like she's about to wind down and relax in bed after a long day at work, and the description only enhances that feeling. The particular chest contour mod is a bit distracting, but other than that this is something I really like.
Tink_Bel: 8.5/10 I'm a bit biased here - I love the pastel bubblegum scheme, so I can look past the color monotony of the whole to the details. Almost instantly my eye is drawn to Helen's relaxed look and it makes me want to oblige her request. Very well done. The description leaves a bit to be desired.
Kiari_Luveniar: 9/10 I love this submission. It's clever and unique and I would never have thought to do it myself, even though it's such a relatable feeling of getting too absorbed in a book and letting it cut into your sleeping time. That being said, the background is a bit strange - since it's used multiple times in this challenge by different contestants, I recognize it less as a headboard and lamp set and more as the dresser it's meant to be. Judging the piece solely on its own merits? This will go very far, in my opinion.
Alesaan: 5/10 The outfit doesn't really stand out to me, unfortunately... The concept is good, and the description is as well, but altogether I kind of wish she had an item or something, maybe a mug to indicate what she's doing instead of just standing there. A different, more homey background would have served this outfit a bit better.
elphiethesane: 7/10 This is really lovely - the concept comes across well and the description only solidifies that for me. I believe that Chantal is tired and she's just taking off her clothing in order to sleep after a long night on the town. I very much like this submission and don't have much to say against it.
Ultrabord: 10/10 I have nothing bad to say about this. This is great. I love the description and depiction of motherhood, and I find the usage of the baby really unique and creative.
SortaKindaMaybe: 9/10 So, again, I'm a bit biased, but this is such a beautiful image I can't take my eyes off of. The only thing this is lacking, and I am really disappointed that this designer has done this twice in a row, is the lack of headwear. A black or white rose accessory, something light and unassuming, would have cinched the 10 from me on this design, because I'm absolutely in love with it otherwise. It stands alone well without it, but it really just needed that little something... Overall, this is fantastic, and the description really sells it.
Princess of the Raindrops: 6/10 This is cute, and the design is done well. However, I find it a bit boring, especially since all the blues are mismatched. It's a little bit distracting. There's potential here, for sure, and it suits the theme - it's just not for me.
HCTotorro: 4/10 I get where this designer is coming from, and the design speaks to their direction, but... I'm just not that into this. I don't like simple black and white color schemes, and with a model like Nicki you need some color to make her stand out.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x: 4/10 I get the concept, I do - it's original, for sure - but... I'm really not a fan, I'll be honest. It fits the theme, at least, and the description is good, but I don't have much good to say about the composition.

Challenge 1: Go The ******** To Sleep
milk cap (Sheenah) Style: 5/10 ... Creativity: 6/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 9/10 Comments: Over all it isn't the most creative avatar of course, but I do think it suits Sheenah wonderfully. It has a feel of a woman trying to spice up the romance, dominating things for a change. I would almost like to see another pop of red somewhere though, just to give a little more dynamics to it. Over all I'm not upset with it at all though.
iiiFlames (Chloe) Style: 7/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 3/10 Comments: I love this look, it's definitely a take on a classic sleepwear avi, but I feel like it isn't a boring sort of over done classic. The colors flow well, and I like that her model stands out from the bed and background just enough to keep the focus on her. The description was a hot mess though, she needed to organize her thoughts a little bit more and edit it before posting, but I did figure it out and I like what she was going for.
AmberEmma (Wanda) Style: 6/10 ... Creativity: 4/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: It's a cute avatar, and I understood what she was going for without having to read the description which is always the goal. I wish there was a little bit more color variation, Wanda gets a little bit lost as is, but it is pleasing. My biggest problem with this avatar though is all the items on the model are options from the same item, with only the background extending past the same item that has her hair. It looks good together because it was designed to, I would have liked to see some creativity in changing even just one of the parts out for a different item.
Dante Dolly (Melissa) Style: 8/10 ... Creativity: 9/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: This is a great avatar, it isn't a stereostypical sleepy look, I like that it's just stripping down after a long day. I like that it's playful and cute while still being kind of sexy, and the colors all play well with one another it feels like the bedroom would belong to that version of Melissa.
Tink_Bel (Helen) Style: 8/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 8/10 ... Description: 7/10 Comments: It's cute. Don't really have a whole lot more to say. She's definitely adorable, love the color scheme, looks like she's ready for bed. Just..I dunno. Wish there was something more, and I don't even know what more I want? Just something.
Kiari_Luveniar (Madeline) Style: 9/10 ... Creativity: 10/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 5/10 Comments: I absolutely love this. It is entirely relatable which is something I love, and it says what it is instantly without any explanation or description. That being said, I wish there was more of a description here.
Alesaan (Sarah) Style: 3/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 7/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: The description is amazing, and so is the creativity. It doesn't really succeed, but the creativity is definitely there since this was one of the last looks I would have ever considered for this challeng. The end result just didn't suceed nearly as well as the creativity and description. It feels more confusing than anything, and I definitely wish there was some aspect of home. Potted plant, coffee mug, TV, book, chair, just anything to make it feel more like home.
elphiethesane (Chantal) Style: 7/10 ... Creativity: 7/10 ... Subject: 9/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: I love the decription and the idea of this one. Love that she thought about her model's hairstyle and made things work from there. I wish the background was a little bit different color scheme from the rest of the look, and it is a little off balance, but there's nothing really wrong with it.
Ultrabord (Danielle) Style: 8/10 ... Creativity: 10/10 ... Subject: 8/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: This is so creative, the baby is unique and never would have crossed my mind. The colorscheme is gorgeous too, and is entirely flattering on the model. I love it.
SortaKindaMaybe (Amaya) Style: 8/10 ... Creativity: 10/10 ... Subject: 8/10 ... Description: 8/10 Comments: This is another one that absolutely surprised me, and it's beautiful. It catches my attention and it's hard to look away. I love the description, but I'm not sure it actually hits all the marks that it needs to. It would be nice to see something more, but it is beautiful.
Princess of the Raindrops (Mariah) Style: 6/10 ... Creativity: 7/10 ... Subject: 7/10 ... Description: 10/10 Comments: I'm biased, and I love this. This is my kind of go the ******** to sleep look and what I like to wear and do before bed. I kind of like that the blues are a little mismatched, makes it feel a little more real? I also like that it's a head to toe look. Could be a bit more polished and have some surprises, but it's great.
HCTotorro (Nicki) Style: 8/10 ... Creativity: 8/10 ... Subject: 10/10 ... Description: 7/10 Comments: I kind of love this look, though it is so incredibly simple and basic. I wish there was some more/different color, some kind of details. But it's great, and her use of items and their mods was wonderfully creative. Helps make up for how simple it is for me.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ella) Style: 4/10 ... Creativity: 10/10 ... Subject: 7/10 ... Description: 6/10 Comments: It's not my favourite, but I love the creativity. I never would have thought of a ghost. There's something off about this, though I'm not sure what. Maybe it's the hat just seems off? Almost wish one item, somewhere, had been taken off. But it's cute, and really can't complain too much.

It's clear that WhyYesh (Lisa) or Spectacular_Blueberry (Clara) will be eliminated. I sent them both PM's (see below) to find out more information. Generally, I don't like to butt in, but seeing as how it's the first task, I'm lenient. However, from now on, it's the responsibility of the designer to check for challenges. If they don't receive guild notices, they can change it in their settings or be more diligent to check. I've raised the prize money to 40,000P so there's no reason this shouldn't be taken more seriously.
Neither of these designers let me know beforehand of any reason they couldn't submit the task, so there's no reason we don't have submissions by them. I'm curious as to whether either of them will message me back and explain.
Hell, we could eliminate them both to light a fire under the asses of those who ARE trying. But that's extreme this early on ...
Going by their auditions, I would just have to say that Blueberry has more potential than Yesh.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are pretty close to hive-minding as I'm looking at the numbers we've scored them with. It's clear that we can all recognize a good look (even if we don't like the colour scheme or a certain item etc) and can recognize a bad look, which is just presented badly. Once I tally in Wolf's numbers, I'll post them all and we can pick our favourites for the first task's winner.Quote: You didn't make a submission in time for Task 1's deadline and I'm sending this to you asking if you still want a place in Project Catwalk.
A guild announcement was sent out on Feb 14/18 letting you know the task had been posted. You had five days to create your look.
Did you perhaps miss the announcement? Was there anything unclear about what was going on? Was there not enough time for you to complete something to submit?
Your feedback will assist me in making sure designers in the future do not miss important memos or tasks.

Quote: 93 - Ultrabord 87 - Dante Dolly 84 - SortaKindaMaybe 83 - Kiari_Luveniar 79 - Tink_Bel 74 - AmberEmma 74 - elphiethesane 70 - Princess of the Raindrops 67 - Alesaan 66 - HCTotorro 66 - iiiFlames 63 - milk cap 58 - x_suicide_is_inevitable_x 0 - Spectacular_Blueberry 0 - WhyYesh Those are the final numbers, tallied by all of our votes. We are free to discuss, but we have a clear winner IMHO. Ultrabord blew it out of the water!! Every single one of us could see something great there.
SortaKindaMaybe's outfit is the most appealing to my eye, but Ultra has a rounded grasp the others should take notice of.

I think it is clear that Ultrabord is the winner, and I think they're a good first winner. There are other strong looks of course, but I think everyone could see this was a good look so there shouldn't be too much debate/complaining. Not that I think decisions should be based on that, but it's still nice to think about it. Also I think following her example could help some of the contestants in the future.
The top three all had such strong looks and submissions though, from the submission itself to description, I love them all.
I'm also incredibly disappointed that there wasn't anything from Spectacular_Blueberry or WhyYesh, because I liked both of their submissions and thought they had immense potential. Especially Blueberry, though I did really enjoy Yesh's first Lisa look. I hope there is some kind of response from them both, but I agree with eliminating one or both of them. While I liked Yesh's look, I would also have to say that Blueberry was the stronger first look, so I would be more inclined to keep the Blueberry as well.

And it feels like a slap in the face to me personally that Yesh didn't perform. Lisa was one of the desirable models (3 designers pining after her, I believe) and perhaps one of the most straight-forward beauties in the bunch.
So yeah, Yesh has my vote to be gone unless I get a good excuse before we all decide. So far, neither has PM'd me back (though neither has read the message or been online, I don't think).

Challenge 2: A Fortnight
Dante Dolly (Melissa) Score: 6.5 Comments: Wow. I love the description, but the style was a little lacking. The black & white colour scheme to portray a thought was brilliant, though.
Tink_Bel (Helen) Score: 8.5 Comments: Gorgeous. I also love that she posted the names of the deceased. personalizing her outfit to this specific event.
Ultrabord (Danielle) - Immune Score: 6 Comments: Stylish, but as we saw a similar submission with the babies in the last task, I took marks away for that.
Alesaan (Sarah) Score: 6.5 Comments: I like the creativity of the photo and had associated it as the youth vs the 'Man' before reading the description even. Just wish it were more fashion forward.
iiiFlames (Chloe) Score: 7 Comments: A very raw image, but I love it. Despite claiming that the challenge affected her, she used that motivation to create a great story for her model.
milk cap (Sheenah) - No item list - cannot be auctioned Score: 5.5 Comments: I think the desk actually takes away from the overall style. Seeing the bottom half of the business look would have been beneficial. The top half looks great. Marks were lost in 'subject' for the missing item list.
Kiari_Luveniar (Madeline) Score: 7 Comments: As always, she produced a gorgeous outfit, but it strayed pretty far from the task.
AmberEmma (Wanda) Score: 7 Comments: Style has been lacking for this challenge, but not for Amber. I appreciate that she really did try to keep her model looking good. Wasn't the most original idea in the world, though.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ella) Score: 6.5 Comments: Oh lawdy, those glasses are killing me. Especially produced on such a large photo. But I will forgive as the description moved me. The speech was a nice little treat.
HCTotorro (Nicki) Score: 6.5 Comments: Nicki looks gorgeous, but I can't help but feel this outfit strays somewhat from the task.
Spectacular_Blueberry (Clara) Score: 6 Comments: I like the look. Spelling and grammar aside, the description was weak. I would like to add that I personally PM'd Blueberry today and pleaded with her to submit something. I shouldn't have to pull teeth ... and I couldn't help but take marks off for that. If she's not interested anymore, I would hope she goes home over someone who really wants to stay.

Challenge 2: A Fortnight
Dante Dolly (Melissa) Score: 7 Comments: It's a perfectly fine look, and the description is wonderful, though you can get the sense of the look without reading it either which is always a goal. I like being able to see a story outright. It is a little..I wish there was something more. The red fur accent on the skirt gets lost in most of the views, and in none of them does it really look like fur, and it doesn't really convey 'love of hunting' like was intended. Plaid or something might have gotten that point across better, or a pose with a longer gun versus a pistol. Over all I have no big complaints with this, solid submission.
Tink_Bel (Helen) Score: 8 Comments: I adore this look, definitely a few changes I would make, but I like that she brought up the importance or mourning and remembering the kids who died. Love that she posted their names. I think I would have liked to see a different color of the RIP in my heart item, but I like this.
Ultrabord (Danielle) Score: 5.5 Comments: I was very turned off by the fact that she used babies again, especially since for this task I just didn't think they belonged really. And even beyond that, she has one of the babies crawling in the water that doesn't make sense for the look either. These facts definitely cost points from me. However, it is stylish, and I love the color play. Like the idea of rain puddles and sunshine as symbolic aspects, and I like the description.
Alesaan (Sarah) Score: 6.5 Comments: This was an interesting submission for me. I like the idea of youth vs the Man as well, and I like how much thought she put into things, even if that leads to a kind of long description. But it's just a little...lackluster. I don't know the last magazine cover I saw that had the models on just a solid white background, would have liked to see something back there to add to the whole look.
iiiFlames (Chloe) Score: 8 Comments: I respect the hell out of her for doing this challenge, I wouldn't have blamed her at all for passing on it, but her strength in channeling her real life feelings and emotions into this piece is wonderful to see. That fact aside, it's a good look and a good description. Could of course added something more to it, but she has some creative item uses and layerings which I like to see. Love it.
milk cap (Sheenah) Score: 5 Comments: It's a good description, but the look doesn't fit the challenge at all without the description. The office doesn't say NRA, doesn't say turmoil or..it just doesn't really work. But the description is solid, and Sheenah does look like a bitchy office boss. Over all..I'm pretty indifferent on this.
Kiari_Luveniar (Madeline) Score: 7 Comments: For the life of me I don't know why her things are always so enlarged, haha, but as always it is a beautiful look. She knows her colors and balance well, and knows how to design for the background and avatar as well. I liked that this was a different take on the challenge, but it was definitely a bit more creative than it probably should have been? But I like it.
AmberEmma (Wanda) Score: 7 Comments: I love love love the outfit she's wearing, love the balance of the colors and how flattering it is. I like the shade she added to the face. Not the most original or creative, not the strongest entry, but this is one I really like. Also like the price of the outfit, not that the price was a huge concern, but it is nice to see.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ella) Score: 6.5 Comments: Good god the size and glasses and...that's rough. Description is great, and better than the outfit itself. Speech was great though.
HCTotorro (Nicki) Score: 6 Comments: Nicki does look great, but I don't think this really fits the challenge? Fits it more than I felt like Ultrabond's submission did. And it isn't awful, just..leaves something to be desired.
Spectacular_Blueberry (Clara) Score: 5 Comments: Clara is adorable, she's happy and cute in the snow. But I don't really think it fits the challenge very well, and the description was not the strongest. At all. Also it is definitely frustrating that you had to pry this submission out of her, especially after not submitting anything the week before. If there's no interest, I wish she would say something, and I do not feel right sending someone else home over her who may have had a weaker submission but clearly has more interest in the competition.
