Hemera's life as of late felt like something like a roller coaster. Between the last space mission and returning to Awassi's mansion, Mera needed to hit the pause button. Once a free weekend it with nothing related to the military or Lightseekers (or planning Scouts with Leeroi) she took the opportunity for some 'therapy'.

Her mind liked to race lately, and going out for a shopping night was a good distraction as any. But it would truly work with someone else so she couldn't get stuck in her own thinkpan.

And she definitely had what she considered a shopping buddy on speed dial. Someone who, admittedly, was also busy with military things and now might still have lingering small-time celebrity status following him (she would absolutely have to ask about that). Despite all their irons in the fire, maybe he would genuinely happy to meet up outside the exhiliration of, erm, space zombies.

And maybe for once everything would just be 'chill', as it were.

Or as chill as a store-wide sale in the tallest mall on the planet was likely to be. It could only be better than shopping around perigee's time!

As per usual, she waited outside the store, punctual as ever.

Sascha had a lot on his plate lately. He had multiple careers taking off in multiple directions. There was a literal zombie space adventure. Not to speak of the mess that was his personal relationships. Which he would absolutely not. Sascha didn't have time to drop everything and-

Who was he kidding. Sascha was prepared to go back to space to escape his responsibilities. Going on a shopping trip was wiggler's play. He'd picked up Hemera's call on the first ring.

It wasn't long after that the trolls met outside the New Hemisect City Commutation Citadel (and planet-famous Commissary Arena). What it lacked in the glitz and shine of the newer Civisect Mall, it made up for in more reasonable prices and sheer size. With horizontal space being at a premium in the NHC shopping district, the building-of-buildings towered over its competitors and neighboring districts.

Sascha whistled appreciatively at the architecture as he approached. Hemera was easy to pick out in a crowd. The primness she carried herself with contrasted against the crowds of locals. Most trolls were either milling about casually or forging pointedly inward towards the shopping center. Plus there was that lingering "was on TV" status that Sascha and Hemera shared. More than a couple trolls seemed to give the tealblood a brief look of recognition as they passed.

"Yooo," Sascha crowed as soon as he was in earshot. He waved an arm in the air as he walked a straight line through traffic to where Hemera was standing. "Been here long?"

"If I was, I probably would have been swept in by these crowds already. They're almost like a tide. It's kind of fascinating, in a way."

It took her a moment to realize that probably sounded pretty dumb. "Anyway. I hope you have been well." If he had gone on the flagship, he didn't seem much worse for wear. Which was saying something for someone she had initially met with horrific burn scars.

She cataloged potential stops in the meantime. Mera had heard that recently a designer outlet had opened up here, and even if her blood had been cooler she would never dream of wearing designer apparel with the line of work she was in...but she also couldn't help but be curious about what the rejects could possibly look like.

And maybe while they were here she could go look for things for her kismesis that weren't muscle shirts.
