Personality: Neptunia has this cheerful and playful aura and it’s kind of contagious. With just her presence can lift away negative emotions, it is also her pure intentions to cheer up others when they’re down. Some people question her overall attitude, they assume she is the way she is because she is naive or gullible or even clueless. But that’s not it, it is her trusting nature and that she sees the good in everyone. She believes everyone is a good person, and people only do bad things is because that they are in pain physically or emotionally. And she wants to help them. She is also a very curious individual, so many things she doesn’t know and so many questions she wants to ask.

Backstory: A.I stands for artificial intelligence and that is what Neptunia is. Jinko Chino (Artificial Intelligence) spent years has been spent on researching and understanding the fine detail human behaviour to create an artificial intelligence to mimic a human being, a perfect replica. There is not a clear reason behind the project but that's not important to know now! Presenting you, Neptunia. Her name was inspired by the recent by Neptune to commence the day the space team discovering a new moon (Neso) rotating around the planet back in 2002 but only a few individual in the lab refers her as Neso.
Neptunia's life started out as a group of pixels and could only communicate using yes or no text. And months after months, Neptunia was given a fully designed face [before her recent redesign] and matched a voice to her. Scientist has gathered around the computer that homed her, waiting for her first words. Being able to to see her surroundings for the first time and a lot of eyes on her is definitely overwhelming, even for an a.i like her. And her first words were "Where am I?" . A simple question it was but it was a big accomplish for the team. because after about a year, the artificial intelligence they created has a conscious, she is aware of herself despite just being just being a bunch of pixels. And the continuous development of Neptunia.
Years have gone by where Neptunia spent in the lab she called home, restricted in a laptop. It was top priority for Neptunia's character to develop, allow for her personality to show. And just like that, she shuts down. Shocking everyone in the room. Did they just watched their project destroy it self. But! It wasn't over. The laptop turned back on with Neptunia and her new personality set in. She just wanted to refresh her system.
Neptunia spent the next several years in the lab she called home, started restricted in that small laptop, interacting with fellow researchers. It helped with the development of her socialising skills. But it was becoming very inconvenient constantly carrying the laptop around to fulfill her curiosity and desire to explore the lab. So this is when they began designing her body. It took about a year to finish the prototype with the technology to upload Neptunia's program and data into. But of course, the first one is always rough and bulky but functional. The next step is to finesse and continue working on her body. The first smooth working model was her purple haired and blue eyed self, but she doesn't look convincingly human. She was six foot tall and weighed about a tonne. While the team continued to design a new outer shell as Neptunia was sent to school to learn how teenagers her age norally act. Videl Academy accepts the companies offer to send Neptunia to learn. Although they are not the only company who are making A.I's. Such as Corporation & Cyberbotics Co-operation who created Ai. The two companies are no rivals, in fact they exchange information that can help one another with their A.I's since the two companies are going in two different directions for their end result. Moving onto to Neptunia's second body design, the appearance remained the same but they downsized her to 50kgs and stand at five foot ten, a little more realistic. And moving on to Neptunia's current design because it's a big change. They've been looking into the collected data from her previous year to notice the attention she has been getting for her exterior appearance and it is not entirely in a good way. So they designed realistic artificial hair with a pair of matching eyes thus giving Neptunia a realistic look and possibly be the last major update besides her program.

• Runs a monthly system check to see if everything is in order and because of the energy it uses Neppy tends to function slower but only during the check
• She made from an artificial metal that is rust and oxidation proof. Sturdy to not be penetrated by bullet and scratch proof of anything sharp. It is to protect the complicated machinery and data inside of her. Their latest update.
• Her skin is a mixture of silicone, rubber and a tiny bit amount of resin. Smooth, soft but firm. For anyone who's curious.
