"Y-Yeah, I'm okay." Mokihana brushed herself off with one hand and kept one firmly planted on the the girl's shoulder. She simply smiled at how she was pretty defiant about allowing Hana to accept all of the blame. Had she the energy, Mokihana would have argued that it was all her fault and apologized constantly but only could just nod. It was always pretty awkward just standing here with her...thing. She hated people referring to it in such a negative way. There was only one person who seemed to call it one of her quirks, her grandmother who had sadly passed. It was something she carried with her that helped tremendously.
"Anyway, I'm Shiria, nice to meet you!"
"Mokihana." She performed a short spin around before curtsying, a simple introduction to greet new people. "But people call me Hana for short! I'm from Alola, so it's been a pretty long trip for me. It's so traveling around outside home." She left out the ending to that, which probably would have went "and seeing all the sights". "Ah, we should find a seat before things begin! Sorry, do you mind if I...sorta hold onto you?"

"But people call me Hana for short! I'm from Alola, so it's been a pretty long trip for me. It's so traveling around outside home."
"Hana, right? Did I spell it right?" Processing the name in her mind, she tried to repeat it a few times to ensure she remembered the name. Sometimes she was quite forgetful."That's certainly a long trip. Also, I heard that Alola is very beautiful! I've wanted to visit there once but didn't have the time. What is it like there?" Because of her condition, she could not travel far or even go out often, so she had always curious about the other places in the world. It was great to hear from a local.
"Ah, we should find a seat before things begin! Sorry, do you mind if I...sorta hold onto you?"
"Yeah, sure, it'll be more convenient to talk when sitting down. We won't get separate also." Briefly looking around, there were more people trickling in, so it was a good idea not to obstruct anyone's way. There was the raised brow at Mokihana's request, but she easily accepted it, not minding it at all, teasing the girl a little. "Anything for the lady, after all. I'll be a good escort. Which hand do you want to hold?" She even offered a wink and a bow.

Mokihana wouldn't mind if she got it wrong the first few times. Everyone had some difficulty with something at least. The most she could do was be patient with this fellow student that she had just crashed into. It was honestly the least she could do to help. The subject soon became about Hanna's home region, Alola. Many people were considering how far out of the way it was compared to most other regions. It was pretty interested as a visitor but even more engaging as a local! The people who came got only a taste for the different treasures that the island had to offer.
"I heard that Alola is very beautiful! I've wanted to visit there once but didn't have the time. What is it like there?"
Hana smiled widely. Oh there were so many things she wanted to tell her about. The beautiful sunsets, the different kinds of Pokemon running around that seemed pretty content with the humans, even that no good gang that didn't seem to really do anything but get in trouble all day. There was so much to talk about and so little time to say it all but she would try her best. "Well, it's very warm! Such nice weather and there's a lot of nice beach stuff as well as cities! Maybe not as big as any other region's but it's cool. There's also a lotta cool things to do. Riding Taurus and swinging with all the water Pokemon! Even riding them! Oh, and traditional dancing! My mother taught me things there that made me wanna be a competition person!" The more the topic stayed on Alola, the more excitable that Hana looked to be getting. A real sense of homesickness was already washing over her and all she wanted to do was to go back at least one more time. "It stinks you haven't had the time. I would love to show you around."
Her request to hold onto Siria was granted without much hassle and with more people walking inside it looked to be a Rowling start to the academic year. Her ears picked up people chatting among themselves as they walked in among the others who had come early. Hana was content with just talking to her friend here, however. Both girls were fairly chill and laid-back from a cursory glance at least.
"Anything for the lady, after all. I'll be a good escort. Which hand do you want to hold?"
Hana laughed to herself at that teasing tone of hers and replied with, "Either! Whatever you like is fine by me! I don't wanna bother you as much as I really am now." /size]

"The place seems extremely beautiful according to what you said, it makes me wanna visit more now. Maybe one day! I'll be holding your offer as tour guide if I were to travel there then!" The image of Alola gradually appeared in her mind with the vivid description from Mokihana, painting a lifelike picture about Alola's sea, its people, its pokemon and so on. The image was enhanced through the expression on Mokihana's face, the passion clearly there. It reminded her of how much she loved her city; the mystery and the peace in the city. "I'll also be your tour guide if you were to visit Saffron city. It's where I'm from!"
"Either! Whatever you like is fine by me! I don't wanna bother you as much as I really am now."
"It is no bother at all! It's my pleasure." She giggled, offering her left hand closely to Mokihana to hold. Eyes flickered to the auditorium seats, she thought of the spot she wanted to go, but there was her friend nearby, so there should be a compromise. "Also, any request for seating spot? Closer or farther to the stage or to the sidelines?"

Mokihana giggled to herself at Siria's agreement to show her around Saffron City if she were to ever come down to her house. Maybe if a friendship were to ever blossom from the two of them a summer meeting or something of the sort could be put on. Alola was such a beautiful region and Siria could see such wonders that were hidden in the island. "It's a promise then!" She joked. Siria was a pretty easygoing girl from what she had seen so far. Her grip lessened a bit, noticing that she was squeezing a bit too much and mentally scolding herself for it. She moved her arm down slowly, making sure not to lose track of it until her hand clasped onto Siria's.

"Maybe a little close to the stage." Mokihana suggested, moving her head around as well. There was a lot of murmuring going on and these were pretty close to going underway. Hana herself was eager to finally get sorted in and hopefully find her way to class pretty soon. If there were people like Siria at this academy, it was going to a fun year a head of her. "Thanks again! Maybe sometime I can tell you about the dances that we do!" /size]

"Right away! Ah, there!" Shiria was happy that Mokihana's opinion matched her. After all, the closer to the stage the better view you would get! Smiling brightly in greeting at every student they met she ensured they would not be separate from each other. She let out a pleased hum when they reached her chosen seat. It was good that there were empty seats in the second row, which she seated both of them in. The location was near the sidelines also, so she sat on the inside, leaving Mokihana a more convenient seat near the sidelines. "Here's our seat! Just right near the stage!"
"Thanks again! Maybe sometime I can tell you about the dances that we do!"
"Ooh, that'll be nice! Is the dance difficult to do? I do hear that it's a colorful dance!" She remembered hearing someone talked about that subject before, though it was kind of hazy in her mind. Or was it from a book? Hmmm.... "It would be nice to learn about that dance, if possible!"

Hana was whisked away with Siria as the girls went forward towards the front of the stage. As they passed by the students, her friend greeted them all in such a polite and cheerful manner. She had some difficulty in doing the same but did her best to match the girl's demeanor. "Hi! Ha-Hello! Pardon us! Nice to meet you!" Their journey to the front was short but eventually they reached their destination and sat down. Mokihana could tell that she was closer towards the aisles than Siria but didn't really mind where they sat. Her hand still was in the girls but slowly slipping away now that they had been seated. Hana readjusted her glasses that had been slipping down her face and got comfy. Their talk from earlier appeared to have taken Siria's interest in the various dances.
"Ooh, that'll be nice! Is the dance difficult to do? I do hear that it's a colorful dance!"
Once again, Hanna's smile widened. She was always so eager to share things about her home. "Maybe for a beginner. My mother is the coordinator for the school down there, so I've been dancing along with her since I could walk." she giggled, remembering the many performances and such that she had done with her mother. "It's a lot of movements that sorta flow together, like a wave! I could show you actually but it might take some practice. There's different ones too! Mom and I once did ones to honor all the guardian dieties of the islands. It was a nice vacation. All of them have different dances!" Hana rambled on and on to her heart's content about Alola, looking ever so happy and maybe just a tad homesick. /size]

"Is that so? Then you must be an expert then! I feel that you would be qualified as a dance teacher with that amount of experience." She then remembered once of her attempt to dance before at an event, it was pretty awkward. "I'm not that good at dancing, my feet is pretty clumsy, haha. People said I make it up with my enthusiasm though!" That, or usually, people asked her to do what she did best, magic!
Smiling a bit more at the image of the dance that Mokihana described, she could imagine about the smoothness of the dance, like water. She paid great attention to the story, so the gradually change in expression on the girl's face was clear to her. An inspiration suddenly came to her, and her smile brightened. "That sounds like fun! Ooh, I just have an idea. You could be my assistant! Or partner, whichever you like."
"I do magic, and I had the inspiration that we could mix magic with dance. It'll be great!"

Many of the new students in Ordell were excited to head to this assembly, meet new students, and get their pokemon adventure started. For them, it was a day of wonder, excitement, and surprise. For one boy in this crowd, however, he couldn't care less.
Jericho dragged his feet as he was directed towards the auditorium by smiling teachers and staff. He didn't particularly want to be here, he didn't care what whoever was going to speak had to say. Jericho had no choice in being here, in this auditorium or at this school even! So why on Earth were his parents so adamant that he go here? What was so special about pokemon anyway? They were just weird animals. With a disinterested look in his eyes, Jericho made his way into the auditorium and took a seat: very last row, aisle seat, closest to the doors. He slouched down, propping his feet against the back of the seat in front of him to keep him anchored. And then, he listened to his mp3 player and played a handheld video game, ignoring everything else around him. After a few minutes, he took a brief look around to make sure no adults were glaring at him yet, and to take a glance around. Some people were talking, probably upperclassmen who had friends. Others sat quietly by themselves. On the walls hung some colored banners depicting different pokemon. Jericho couldn't name them all even if he tried; he couldn't even tell what was depicted on one of them, the colors meshing together. With a small grumble, Jericho put his attention back to his game, tuning the world out yet again.

"Haha, maybe!" Hana thought back on how much she had learned from her mother. Maybe a dance teacher would be needed when she was older and then she could teach the entire world all of her home's dances. Of course there might be some kind of backlash from her people but it was just what it was. A dream. The child began stroking her chin in thought just as Siria told her about her clumsy nature. A few people certainly didn't have the best footwork but some hard work would eventually get them into tip top shape! Nobody started out perfect after all! "It's okay! I was clumsy too when I started. You get used to it after doing it a lot." Hana smiled at her, noting how much more interested and cheerful Siria sounded when she spoke next.
"Ooh, I just have an idea. You could be my assistant! Or partner, whichever you like."
While a bit of an odd offer, magic did sound pretty cool. She hadn't heard of anything like it back home, so maybe it was kind of like how pokemon could do such spectacular things. Mixing her dancing might be a tad difficult but together both elements did appear quit interesting. Hana thought on the matter for a moment before nodding in agreement. "I would love to be your assistant or partner! But how would we mix your magic with my dance? What kind of magic can you do anyway?"

"It's okay! I was clumsy too when I started. You get used to it after doing it a lot."
"That makes me feel a bit better. I better work hard when I have the chance then! I hope you can help me get better. Advice from experts is the best!" She answered gleefully, imagining the improved footwork when her dancing was better. She had seen many dancers move so gracefully before, so she hoped to at least get half of that grace. After all, her specialty was in hand movements, not body movements.
"I would love to be your assistant or partner! But how would we mix your magic with my dance? What kind of magic can you do anyway?"
"I can do lots of things, you know, jack-of-all-trades! Though I do specialize in magic with a deck of cards. It's simple and easy to do of all times! Or, something like this!" Smoothing reaching out a hand near Mokihana's ear, she briefly touched the area near it and pulled out a rose before placing it into the girl's hand. She then considered about the things that they could do together since Mokihana had accepted. "We can make things disappear and appear throughout one of your dance, for example. It'll be like the real magic of those fantasy world! "

Hana said, still matching Siria's excitement at their little chat about dancing and magic. On the train ride here, if she would have been told that her path would lead down here it would have seemed like something out of a storybook.
"That makes me feel a bit better. I better work hard when I have the chance then! I hope you can help me get better. Advice from experts is the best!"
The two shared another laugh up until Siria continued on about her magic. Mokihana listened intently while still wondering what magic was. Maybe it was a little naive of her to be confused by something like this but it could have been just due to being a little sheltered from time to time. As it turned out, Siria proclaimed herself to be a jack-of-all-trades with her specialty being a deck of cards. Something so visual would make it quite difficult for Hana to understand without 3 more people to help her out.
"It's simple and easy to do of all times! Or, something like this!"
Hana blinked as she felt the girl's hand on her ear and then a fwip! as something was pulled out of there. She wore a surprised expression while looking around until whatever Siria had pulled from her ear was placed into her hand. A quick feel in her palm revealed that it was a rose! "Whoa! That's so amazing!" Her thumbed went up and down on the rose with astonishment. "I bet we could do that simple! Maybe we could get some of our pokemon to help and make our show amazing!"

"Hehe, I'm glad you like it! Would you like to see another trick?" She had always been happy to watch the change of expression on each of her audience's faces. With Mokihana's exclamation and reaction, she had already been smiling so brightly and became rather excited herself. She could already think of multiple simple to do tricks but still can make people surprise almost everytime.
"I bet we could do that simple! Maybe we could get some of our pokemon to help and make our show amazing!"
"That's a good idea! Occasionally on certain tricks, I would have Zane - My Zorua - help with the preparation and execution, but we haven't tried with multiple people and pokemon. I mean, each of us have our specialization, we can make a distinctive show with each of our difference!" She babbled on more and more with increasing excitement, bouncing in her seat a little and dreaming future scene when they could partner together to create a show.

tab As Tera waited for replies and appearances, the girl who already grew bored of fiddling with her PokeGear opted to look below at the flow of people coming in and out of the auditorium instead. There were lots of people coming in which was usually a good tell that the event was starting soon. The problem was that it sure didn't feel like it, not to the overly excited and fidgety from staying in one place too long Tera! Now looking more at the center of the auditorium, keen eyes noticed that things were getting lively among the new students, making her all the more antsy about staying in place. Just as she was about to look at what the other houses' areas were looking like, the Charizard house girl felt her PokeGear buzz. A few fumbling button clicks later and the girl's face lit up. 'Now where could he be?' she thought as she pulled her tongue while moving her PokeGear around to find a match. It was pretty obvious that he was in the auditorium given the background, so all she had to do was match the picture to find him, right?
tab When she was about to get up to start a more active search, a familiar voice stopped her. "Dude Marcus! Ain't ya a sight for sore eyes! I was lookin' fer ya, haha!" she said, relieved and maybe with a little too much gusto. Boredom mixed with being idle had a strange effect of making her feel lonely, more so recently with the lack of sleep she's been getting. "My break was pretty awesome! When I went home, I found out dat tha nice Granpy that bakes cookies three blocks down my street was Jung's Granpy! Who knew right! Oh and my fam and I went to Alola fer some researchy summit thingy and bumped into Marco's fam and-! Oh oh!" The girl stopped herself, partly to catch her breath, but also to put a hand up as if to tell him to wait a moment, thinking that a visual might better explained. Grabbing the furthest left Pokeball from her belt, she released a green lizard-like pokepal. "I caught... Dis guy!" Her hands motioning to proudly present him to Marcus. The reptilian Pokemon didn't really get what was going on, but his trainer's expecting eyes made him put his paws on his hips, posing to mimic her energy. "But yeah! How did your break go, dude?" she asked him, eyes eagerly sparkling as she waited to hear any possible tales he could weave.

While Koru was on her way to the cafe with Quilava trailing alongside her, her Pokegear beeped and alerted her of the entrance ceremony! She picked up Quliava rather quickly and high tailed it. She knew it was later today, but she didn't think later meant now?!

If a race was in progress, Koru would probably win two medals by now with how quickly she was running to the auditorium. Before she even arrived in Lamia she received word by email that she was a rep for Salamence. She was extremely honored, but also a little pressured? Was she even good enough for that position? Right now wasn't such a great example. Running late for the entrance ceremony was such a great start to things...It was luck on her end that she remembered the layout of the auditorium from the last time she was there entering school, so she rushed with Quilava. It was only as she approached the door at full speed, she realized she would see everyone, right? The friends she had made here, others that she still hoped they could be friends, and...! She pushed the door open without thinking and her foot caught on the entryway,"EAH!"
Koru felt herself going down towards the floor, in that split second seeing a boy in a knitted cap, but she managed to twist herself with a curve of her leg then landed in a forced strut down the walkway. Step by step she could feel her balance fighting to fail. Finally she held out her arms, letting Quilava cling to her top now, to even herself out then bend her knee in a stomp,"SAFE!"Koru took a sharp sigh and Quilava quivered from the dizzying experience.
It appeared that she had tripped herself right in the middle of a conversation between some of the new students. She didn't recognize them so she was assuming they were only new. With a quivering Quilava on her stomach she beamed the two girls a smile and waved her hands,"Oh I'm so sorry guys! Had two left feet all the way over here."
