Psykgi was startled from her thoughts by a literal fire-breathing child. After the initial surprise, though, she found herself intrigued.

"Gosh, that's certainly one way to cook them." Psykgi commented, not gifted with fire breath, decided to finish off the goey clusters. And, after giving the kid a little wave in reply, she stuck about five more on.

Because ******** it, she had a long night ahead of her yet.

"I like it when they first start sizzling." she commented, the glow of the fire reflecting on her face as she set the marshmallows alight, "It looks so pristine, and then it bubbles and darkens. Really neat... What do you think?"

Caiden had been here yesterday. He had eaten a lot, but, in order to recuperate, he had also cleaned a lot. Even tho no one asked, the brownblood got right to work. Snacking on ribs as he picked up plates, the brownblood went up to Volkie, "So, how about you hire me?" Caiden joked, a huge smile on his face.

The plates were fun. Just grab one up, eat it up, get a suprise look at the bottom. "Wow." Caiden breathed, stars in his eyes. He was having trouble remembering to even look at the bottom of the plate, his digestion track in heaven. He needed to drag someone here, show them how good this was.

Reemus understood that it was more a competition than, say, a buffet, but sometimes even he had to take it easy. Last night went well enough, but even he knew the concept of pacing. Too many events were going on for him to just stuff himself all the time. That could work against him eventually! So, tonight, he didn't eat anywhere near as much. A little disappointing to watch, maybe, but Reemus felt content enough.

Eating fewer ribs meant more space in his stomach for other things. Like a whole other meal! Yay! Looking at the menu again, Reemus made a note to bring Voscil next time. Definitely. Absolutely. Maybe she would win something, or he could win something for her! And even if not, it was still some really good food. Too bad the trolls in charge weren't rebels.

He would miss the barbecue someday...

Reemus almost forgot about the game part. Oh, yeah. He looked at the number. 1. Oh. That was special, right? He squinted at the rulings with this bad eye. Then they widened with understanding. Really special, actually! He could make a whole dish! If he had a tail, it would absolutely be wagging.

This time, Api came hungry. Very hungry. They settled in and started to chow down, managing to make it through 67 whole ribs before having to call it quits. Oh boy. They... they needed to go take a nap... Or something. Maybe go find something active to do to burn some off this off.
