The pale cub was tired, scared and confused. Her family had been asleep peacefully when the sound of viscous snarls and cackling ripped her from her peaceful slumber. She had remembered their mother shoving her and her sister into some nearby shrubs but that hadn't been safe for long before the lumbering faces came towards them and the two had taken off, getting separated from one another and their family, Hyena's hot on their tail. But their mother had jumped between them and the charging beasts and screams were all she had heard as she had kept on running.

This was hours ago it would seem. And she was shaking and cold and wanted her mother and her sister.

Crying she slumped against a small crevice in a rather large rock formation and did her best to squeeze her little form against it mostly under it and let herself cry.
