Astronomy ~ A
--Heath enjoyed staying up late as much as the next person, and he could admit looking at stars for a good portion of class was pretty fun. But actually learning about stars and the random stories behind them (he gets it, Zeus was a d**k) was..troublesome. He was just happy to pass let alone remember the solar system.
Charms ~ EE
--He felt like charms was one of those classes you just sorta had to know, and with all the stuff he's broken over the years (bones not mentioned) it'd be a good idea to study. It doesn't hurt that a charm was what helped with his staircase map.
Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ EE
--He's not to big on offensive magic but the defensive he can do pretty well. He studied both because he was pretty sure they weren't just going to focus on defense and he surprised himself by how well he did on the written and practical sides. He sorta misfired on his last spell but thankfully it was his eyebrows that had to be regrown rather than the examiner.
Herbology ~ P
--Heath liked the outdoors. Truly he did, but he was not a plant person. Someone gave him a succulent for Christmas one year and he forgot it in his trunk and it died. It literally just needed sunlight and he couldn't even do that much. Plus he was pretty sure the examiners didn't like how he was playing jump rope with the whomping willow.
History of Magic ~ P
--He might've fallen asleep in this class despite actually liking the professor. He might've also attempted to read his textbook to study and fallen asleep again. Still, could've gone worse.
Potions ~ A
--Heath's problem with potions is that he wanted to just toss things into the cauldron and see what happened and his professor would continuously tell him that there were things like "rules" and "regulations" and "safety measures." He can follow the instructions pretty well but it doesn't stop him from trying to tweak things just a bit. His exam tweaking resulting in just a mild gas that still cured boils but also smelled slightly like rotten eggs.
Transfiguration ~ A
--His problem with transfiguration was that he would lose his concentration halfway through the process and either the item would end up half transfigured or half gone. He really didn't want that to happen to the kitten so he just refused. Thankfully he did decently on his written to not completely fail and he got a kitten out of it. Win/win in his books.
Alchemy ~EE
--Surprisingly, combining charms and potions into one class was enough for him to focus and do well. It was an interesting subject that basically begged him to try throwing things together and seeing the results. He actually enjoyed studying for the exam and was very happy with the results.
Care of Magical Creatures ~ EE
--Heath enjoyed being outside and he very much enjoyed learning about the different animals that could kill him. It just made life that much more colorful in his book. He was pretty sure the only reason he didn't get a perfect score was because he might've made his essay on the awesomeness of hippogriffs...when he was supposed to talk about nogtails. In his defense, hippogriffs were insanely better.
Healing ~ O
--With as often he got injured, he figured it was invaluable to learn how to heal himself, he was just surprised how good at it he actually was. Probably all those trips to the ER when he was younger. He's thinking of mailing a gift basket to the mediwizards for their help with his studies.
Study of Ancient Runes ~ EE
--He was surprised how much he actually enjoyed this class. Learning about the different runes and how they can work with one another and their surroundings. Especially with all the combinations he can accidentally on purpose create. He studied pretty well for this exam but was still happily surprised by his results.
