Like Mentor, like Apprentice. Ravensnatch trained Froststrike well, he proved that one her last battle with him. That was the largest reason she was so eager to battle him again. Not only had he worn her out, but he was repesentive of the potential of his generation. Flamedapple is exactly the same way, stronger than she ever was as an apprentice and young warrior.

This tom had a bright future, and his clan was lucky to have him. Even though he wasn't lightning, she'd do her part to help him grow. Instead of water like a plant, she used raining paw strikes to accomplish that goal. Always without hesitation she went after the cat landing the first practice blow against his left flank.
