 More About Me╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════PERSONALITY┊Having spent most of her time on her own, as well as facing many hardships in life, Celica has become so jaded to the point where she can't be bothered with much outside of her own self-interests. In the event that she does show expressed interest in someone else, it's most likely for personal gain, so be wary. Quick to anger and prone to violence, she'd rather remove pokemon from the equation altogether and fight others herself. It also doesn't help that Celica finds enjoyment out of fighting others, almost to the point where it seems like she gets off to fighting. However, she's not just a ball of anger as it would seem. Celica does her best to make sure her pokemon are healthy and in tip-top shape. To Celica, her pokemon are her partners, and she's dependent on them for survival. Lastly, she's empathetic towards the less fortunate as well as children, seeing them as potentially vulnerable and in need of protection or guidance. This seemingly contradictory personality trait stems from her troubled childhood, and she doesn't want to see anyone go through the hardships she went through. As a result, Celica might inadvertently take on the role of an older sister figure, even if she's really bad at it.
HISTORY┊Born to a poor family in Solaceon Town in the Sinnoh region, Celica wasn't exactly dealt the best hand of cards from the start. It also didn't help that her parents didn't actually want kids, and she was an accident. The result was a neglectful home life where Celica had parents that didn't even want her. In an effort to support herself, even if just a little bit, Celica would work at the town's day care center and help out in exchange for meals. Here, she learned bits and pieces about the world of pokemon, as well as the basics of taking care of them. Eventually, after a particularly bad evening with her parents that broke out into a fight, Celica ran from home to get away from it all.
After a long period of time on her own, Celica was taken in by an organized crime group, who sheltered and fed her with the stipulation of having to work for them. At first it wasn't so bad, but as Celica grew up, the jobs she was tasked with doing became more and more extreme. For a time, her main job involved illegal fighting to rake in money. Having grown tired of this life, Celica sought to leave, and after a violent confrontation with her boss, she barely managed to escape. Once again without a home, Celica found refuge with a retired martial artist in the Northern region of Sinnoh. Initially hostile towards the old man, Celica attempted to attack him and steal from him, but after not being able to land a single hit on the experienced fighter, she was offered to become his student, partially out of pity, but to also reign her in. It was here that her fighting techniques were honed and where she gained her first pokemon. Gifted by her instructor, an Electivire by the name of Fulgur became Celica's sparring partner and new friend.
However, things couldn't stay peaceful forever. Seeking revenge and to take back what he deemed his property, the crime boss that Celica worked under found her new home. Having been told to run away by her instructor, Celica fled with Fulgur and the two journeyed across Sinnoh for some time. Developing a knack for survival, but also still fleeing her past, Celica sought after a new region to make her home and so she came by ship to Citra.
