 More About Me╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════PERSONALITY┊Despite appearances, Jessica Morrison is what one would call "a nervous wreck", for lack of a better term. Having come upon her current position as Gym Leader of Gaoth City by pure happenstance, she doesn't feel like she's that qualified to be leading a gym all by herself. That combined with various self esteem issues leads to a nice blended mixture of nervousness. Jessica, being a bit of a worrywart, has trouble just going with the flow and stresses over the finer details in life. Despite all this, she has a knack for sailing, having gone with her father on many boating trips. Some would say it's her only real talent.
HISTORY┊Jessica Morrison, originally a native of Virbank City in the Unova region, grew up under a single father and lived a mostly uneventful life for many years. Her father was originally a sailor, but in his later years he worked at the port before being forced into an early retirement due to stress on his body. However, he would still sail on his own small boat in his retirement, and Jessica would tag along to learn but to also keep an eye on him. Since she was a teenager, Jessica has had a knack for sailing and quite enjoys the open sea. Eventually, she had the desire to leave home and go on her own adventures. With her father's blessing as well as being gifted some of his pokemon, Jessica set out to the Citra region in search of new opportunities.
As it turns out, you need something called a job in order to cover your expenses. Jessica was no stranger to work, but being in a completely different part of the world meant she had no one to rely on but herself, which terrified her. It was by pure coincidence she found an opening as a Gym Leader. However, the only opening was in a run-down gym located in Gaoth City. To make matters worse, it was a poison type gym, a typing that she had no pokemon of. Thankfully, the previous gym leader had no objections to Jessica changing the typing of the gym, so long as she was fine doing all the renovations herself. He left her a male Nidoran as a parting gift and left her to figure this whole Gym Leader thing on her own. So now, Gaoth City's newest Gym Leader is ready to go...

...as soon as she gets herself out of this financial hole she dug herself into and actually turns this run-down gym into something presentable.
