Pastela was new to the area and pretty nervous. She was sure she would meet nice people but was naturally shy until she got to know someone. Shacking her main and fluffing her feathers in the hope to gain courage, Pastela started walking around again. She had the time and wanted to get to know her new home.

Large wings extended in a long stretch as the feathered serpent walked along, his feather tipped tail swaying back and forth behind him as he moved through the ever changing lands. Winter had finally come and he was happy to see the snow upon the earth, it made a satisfying crunch beneath his feet.
Xipitlicoatl was no small stallion, and his long tail and massive wing span made him seem larger than what he really was though. Which was nice, because it deterred anyone from out right attacking him, not that he ever had any real concern for such things.
Still, it also made him rather intimidating when he was trying to socialize.
Spotting a pale figure ahead he slowed and wondered how to approach because her current body position had him curious and cautious, not wanting to spook her and not wanting to come off as a creep he was honestly uncertain of what to do so he called out instead.
"Greetings! How are you enjoying the weather?" That was one way to break the tension right?

Pastela was a little shocked. One because someone was calling to her and two because the stallion calling to her was such a beautiful array of colors. *Come on girl pull yourself together* her inner self chastised her.
Taking a breath in to cool her nerves, she decides since his greeting was so nice that he must be nice. Walking a little closer to where he was standing; most cause she didn't want to yell; she can see now just how amazing this stallion looked.
*Girl if you don't stay something soon he is going think your a crazy small town pony* her muse was always so informative. Clearing her throat, Pastela starts talking.
"Hello. Yes I just love the winter time." her voice is filled with the dream like Sprite of a young filly and she pranced a little with the excitement. "Don't you just love how the snow feels under hoof?" She new she probably looked silly but she didn't mind to much cause her just loves winter snow.

Folding his wings against his body he enjoyed the warmth the feathers provided. The surrounding area was indeed beautiful, but he wasn’t quite accustomed to the cold.
Curling his talons into the ground beneath him he listened to the way the snow crunched in his grasp. It was a somewhat relaxing and refreshing thing to do. “I agree, it feels very interesting.”
She had yet to produce her name so he figured if he went first that may help, though he supposed out right asking for her name would likely also do the trick. “My name is Xipilicoatl, but you can call me Xi for short if you wish. Is this area home for you?” Curious to know more he patiently waited.
