Season 3

This season is called Alicization. The terms are based off of Alice in wonderland.

Kirito has been trying this new system that seems to be a progression in the medical field where you learn more about the brain, however, there seems to be more to it than just what Kirito is letting on. When on the way home with Asuna, the last member of Laughing Coffin meets up with Kirito and uses a poison. Asuna is going to save Kirito the best she can.

Episode 2/24

Waking up in a forest, Kirito soon finds Yugio, who is a woodcutter and unknown to Kirito an old friend. Yugio calls Kirito a lost child of Vecta and is later set up in a church. Kirito's apparent calling is a swordsman.

Episode 3/24

After telling Alice's sister Silka about what happened to Alice, she ran away to the end mountains where Kirito and Yugio found a pack of goblins and Silka.

Episode 4/24

Yugio chops down the demon tree using the ice sword after being rescued by Kirito and Silka from near death. Kirito also slew the goblin chief that was holding Silka hostage. Yugio's next calling is being a swordsman, so he and Kirito set out for a town called Sentoria where their destiny awaits.

Episode 5/24

Kirito was taken secretly to the ocean turtle, which Asuna has an American doctor help her track him down.

Episode 6/24

Asuna gets the full story and because Kirito didn't he got himself into a world of hurt. Now he is living in the virtual world until he can clear this one part of it. The assistant for Aincrad, the lady that helped Asuna see Kirito, confessed that she is sorry for what she did to the players of SAO. But Asuna simply stated that we just have to own up to our sins and move on.

Episode 7/24

In the world of Alicization, Kirito gets a new sword made from the tip top of the demon tree's bark. When training with the sword, he got some mud on a senior officer's uniform and therefore was punished with having to duel him with first strike rules.

Episode 8/24

Kirito and Yugio make it to the elite disciple's dorm in terms of rank and now have a student each under them.

Episode 9/24

Yugio confronts Yubear on being a sexual harasser, but he denies the whole thing and promises he would never do something like that, which deep down is a complete and utter lie.

Episode 10/24

After breaking the taboo index, both Kirito and Yugio are reunited with Alice, but not with how they remember her.

Episode 11/24

Yugio and Kirito break out of the prison and when they get to the one garden, they are met by an integrity knight whom they are going to have to fight to get further in their quest.

Episode 12/24

Yugio and Kirito meet the cardinal system avatar and she tells Kirito the history of the world of Alicization and a corrupt woman named the Pontifex.

Episode 13/24

The cardinal lady helps equip Yugio and Kirito on their quest to defeating the Pontifex and her knights and then sends them on their way.

Episode 14/24

Yugio and Kirito beat the crimson knight and reveal as much as they needed to to him. And then, they proceeded up the stairs where they met two young ladies.

Episode 15/24

Yugio and Kirito arrive on a floor of lady knights where one hates the fact that she is a woman. Kirito goes all out against her.
