Ginyu attempts to gain Piccolo's body next, but thanks to Gohan, Ginyu is put back into the body of a frog. Meanwhile in the fight between Goku and Frieza, all hope seemed lost until Goku remembered all that he was fighting for and that he could not afford to lose no matter what.

The Ginyu force save for Captain Ginyu arrive on King Kai's planet and start pigging out. Meanwhile, back on Namek, Goku feels that he has one option left, which is the spirit bomb.

As Goku was gathering energy for the spirit bomb, Piccolo jumps in and distracts Frieza before the chance was ruined. Meanwhile, on King Kai's planet, our dead heroes are about to take on the dead ginyus.

After a bit more of a distraction, the spirit bomb becomes ready and it seems that the mighty Frieza has finally met his end.

Just when it appeared like Frieza was dead, he appears, knocks out Piccolo and kills Krillin. Witnessing the horrible death of his best friend pushed Goku over the edge causing in the super saiyan transformation.

The fight between Frieza and Goku continues with Goku clearly having the upper hand.

Desperate to win and able to breathe in space, Frieza launches a death ball to the core of Planet Namek so that it will explode and hopefully kill Goku due to lack of air to breathe. Meanwhile, on Earth, Kami has contacted King Kai to let him know that Mr. Popo has been gathering the dragon balls to help with the current situation.

As the battle between Goku and Frieza continues with Frieza at 50% power, Gohan manages to rescue Bulma. Goku then allows Frieza to reach max power before resuming the fight. Now the fight could go either way, but the clock is ticking before Namek goes boom.

Mr. Popo succeeds in collecting the dragon balls where he wishes that everyone killed by Frieza is revived. The next part of the plan conducted by Kami and King Kai is that when Porunga shows, that the remaining wish be used to transport everyone on Namek, save for Frieza to earth.

The wish is granted by the earth dragon so everyone that Frieza killed has been brought back to life including Goku. Now Goku is ready to resume the fight.

Dende makes it to Porunga in time and wishes that everyone save for Goku and Frieza be brought to earth, which is granted and denied Frieza immortality. Goku plans on finishing Frieza whether he lives or dies in the process.

The battle between Goku and Frieza continues, but nobody can tell whether or not Goku will make it out of there alive.

After seeing Frieza getting weaker with every hit, Goku tried to show mercy to the tyrant claiming that he was done fighting. However, Frieza wasn't about to let Goku go. It was only one of them getting off of Namek alive no exceptions and to prove it, Frieza threw a Sauzer blade, which is similar to the destructo disc except that it can be controlled of where it goes, its like the advanced version of the disc.

After a chase, with the discs, the discs finally cut Frieza in half. But just as Goku was leaving, Frieza asks for help, which Goku leant some of his energy to.

Not willing to accept defeat, Frieza fires one final blast at Goku after reminiscing how he got to this point. In retaliation to Frieza's unrepentant ways, Goku finishes him with an attack of his own. Now Goku races to find a working ship before the planet explodes.
