Which team would the avatar play on, Red or Yellow?
For those unfamiliar with Nick Arcade, its a game show that ran from 1991-1992 on television in which two teams compete to win cash and prizes by earning the most points in 2 rounds for a shot at entering a Video Game known as the Video Zone, to take on the Game Wizard.
In the Television show, the 5 Consoles that were featured in the Video Challenge was the Nintendo NES, SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo, Neo Geo & TurboGrafx 16
The Video Puzzles that are seen in the Television show were: Video Repairman What was that Credit Crawl Fast Forward Robot Vision Hyper Channels Video Text Flash Frame Hidden Camera Instant Replay Split Screen and Mixed Signals
The Television show had 2 hazard spaces on the game board: Time Bomb (which appears after Mikey moves to a space he's already been too), when landed on, the current team turn who's controlling Mikey needs to correctly spell a word to maintain control of Mikey, if that team is unable to do so, then that team's turn ends & control of Mikey goes to the other team. Regardless of the outcome of the Time Bomb space, no points are awarded. Also in the Television show, in later episodes, this space would not be used as much. One such Episode to use the Time Bomb space was Episode 7 of Season 1. There is also one episode where the Time Bomb space was used twice.
Enemy, which when landed on, causes the current team turn who's controlling Mikey to end and then the other team gets to control where Mikey moves on the game board.

Pirate's Cove sounds cool. I would play Star Defenders. Probably would move Mikey to Video Challenges and be on the Red team.

I'll see if I can find a Episode of Nick Arcade which features the Pirate's Cove Game Boards then make an OOC game where all 3 Levels of the Video Zone are won.

As there are several Game Boards for Mikey's World in the Television Show, there's 9 Different Video Enemies depending on which Game Board is used for that show...
As mentioned before, this is one of Two Spaces that the Controlling Team needs to avoid while the other space is Time Bomb. If a the Controlling Team lands on either one of them, that player loses control of Mikey if that Space is the Video Enemy or the team is unable to correctly spell a word to maintain control of Mikey if that Space is a Time Bomb.
Also in the Television show, The Time Bomb space would be blocked in later episodes since that team would not be able to make that move to that space & in earlier episodes, landing on the Time Bomb Space would be a rare occurrence.
Here's the Sets of Nick Arcade that was shown from 1991 to 1992:

Truth be told, I literally have no idea what this show's about or anything about it. I didn't have cable when I was a kid to watch Nickelodeon. But if I have to choose: Cape Cosmos, Brainstorm, Video Puzzles, and Red; I guess.

Did you know that Nick Arcade first aired on January 4, my birthday? I was 4 years old when it first premiered on Nickelodeon.
I should explain more about the Face-Off Games that were used in the Toss Ups as they're divided into 3 kinds of Face Off Video Games on the Television Show. During the Face Off, The player with the highest score wins that Face Off and gains initial control of Mikey in the Mikey's World Game Board after scoring 25 Points in Round 1 or 50 Points in Round 2: = Pong Star Defenders: Each player must defend his/her Space Station from incoming comets. Battle of the Bands: Each player must defend his/her Speaker Amplifiers from incoming sound waves Brainstorm: Each player must defend his/her Cerebral Cortex from incoming Nerve impulses. = Shooter Meteoroids: Each Player must move their crosshairs to shoot down asteroids, meteors & ships flying past the view screen. Laser Surgeon: Each Player must move their crosshairs to shoot down viral cells infecting the patient's bloodstream. = Race Crater Rangers: Each player must drive his/her ATV over landscapes while dodge obstacles. Post Haste: Inspired by Paperboy, each player must move his/her mailman down the street while dodge obstacles. Jet Jocks: Each player must drive his/her Jet Ski downriver while dodge obstacles.
Hello, So if your Mermaid Ruby avi was on Nick Arcade, what game would she play after her Red Team lands on the Video Challenge Space? Be sure to include the System that game is for. One Example: Get Medieval = Windows Marvel Land = Arcade Animaniacs = SEGA Genesis Sonic Jam: Sonic the Hedgehog = SEGA Saturn Highway Hunter = DOS
Here's an example of some Video Challenge Game Consoles that could be used for a Nick Arcade Game, that's featured in the actual Television show: SEGA Genesis Super Nintendo Nintendo TurboGrafx 16 Neo Geo
But in an OOC Game, more systems could be used: Atari 2600 Atari 5200 ColecoVision Vectrex SEGA 32x SEGA CD TurboGrafx CD Arcade Windows DOS SEGA Saturn Atari Jaguar Nintendo 64 Panasonic 3DO PlayStation PlayStation 2 SEGA Dreamcast PlayStation 3 PlayStation 4 Atari Lynx Game Boy/Game Boy Color Game Boy Advance Neo Geo Pocket/Neo Geo Pocket Color Game Gear Master System and more

Sometimes in Nick Arcade, there would be Special Episodes.
During the Special Episodes, no matter who wins the game, the Champion Team & Runner-Up Team gets $250 to $500 while completing the Video Zone from Start to Finish gets $500 to $1,000 both teams played the Video Zone in this case, with one member for each team doing the Wizard Level.
The are a total of 3 Special Episodes in Nick Arcade: Welcome Freshman Salute Your Shorts and Clarissa Explains It All
One thing to note is that in the Nick Arcade Pilot is that there were 7 Video Challenges instead of 5 & the Points were Translated into Dollars at the end of the Game during the Pilot
