A young girl named Serena meets a cat named Luna when on the way to school, which she is late for then she receives a poor grade on her math test. However, when her best friend Molly was in trouble, the cat helped Serena out by giving her a locket that will transform Serena into Sailor Moon defender of the Moon. By using her tiara after gaining some confidence, the evil was vanquished for the time being and a hunky guy named Tuxedo Mask gives Serena the advice to keep believing in herself and then she will be able to do more than she thinks.
