While traveling along the chosen path set by Ghost Gal, Playmaker eventually runs into SOL security bots where Blue Angel gives Playmaker some assistance. Using the distraction to their advantage, Ghost Gal and Akira make their way to the core.

Playmaker and Blue Angel beat the bots that challenged them and entered the core where Akira was waiting for Playmaker.

Akira challenges Playmaker to a duel so as to prevent Playmaker from learning the truth in order to treat him like Skye.

After some prodding and Blue Angel showing up, both Playmaker and Akira share what had happened in Playmaker's past.

Playmaker wins the duel between him and Akira and therefore retrieves the information that he was seeking. He found out who led the Hanoi project, but also that the leader is permanently retired.

AI updates the cleaning bot with what is happening so far in terms of Yusaku's past. Meanwhile, Yusaku and Kolter are planning on finding Ferris for more information.

Students have been disappearing from Yusaku's school and have been sent to the ICU with the same virus as Blue Angel had. The knights of Hanoi are looking for Playmaker and have been hurting other duelists just to get to him.
