Oh c’mon! She smiled and loudly scoffed. Himitsu’s goofy grin, no doubt, was the culprit to rile a smile as it was being paired off with mushy sentiments. Mushy, prying sentiments now rightfully getting the best of Sadayo. All she could think to do was black out her own telling smile with the back of her gloved hand. Her other hand? Sadayo's free hand was stretched forward with the bowl as if trying to tempt a chance to change the attention to the remnant of supper. A tone of warmth in her less than subtle smile was undeterred. Gentle affection rippling through her sheepish echo.

“Am I that transparent?” She spoke through what was normal look. No eccentricities or muted vacancies were being projected over the sounds of the humming, trailing end of a trickling laugh which came and went quickly. The shadow-like hand hiding her face essentially wiping away the trace of her smile with a slow, steady pace. Well. Most of a smile, at least. Her tone of warmth breaking for a gallant, almost prideful, and counselling tone. Some… jesting, smarty-pants attempt to steer her transparency into an opposite direction. “A person could find themselves feeling the same about someone other than their own spawn, you know.” All clowning aside, Sadayo was feeling little reason to fight how she'd already let her guard down. Little bits and details revered as secret were lighting up after dusk and what meager smile Sadayo had left suddenly curved. One cheek swelled with a good-natured smirk. "But. Yeah. The woman's smirk shrunk as she whispered. " Just one. A little girl."
