What are RP Points?
While there is plenty for patrons to enjoy about the shop in terms of collecting the pets, or breeding them, we also would like to reward activity and participation! For individuals who want to help create a living world for their characters, we would like to reward you with extra stages, perks, and items for your pet.
How do you manage? Through gaining RP points!
RP Points can be a way to earn stats, on top of shop giveaways. In fact, you can use RP points for other things things in the shop as well -- purchasing one-time potions for breedings; purchasing armor and outfits for characters; purchasing items for your character; purchasing familiars and non-familiar pets; to receive alternative or additional stages; and to even buy custom art. There are lots of things you can do with RP points -- not only will they help you customize your characters, but they help keep the shop alive too, by encouraging activity!
RP Poitns are primarily and most easily obtained through logged RPs, but we also will allow Art RPs to be logged for points, too.

Every character in Mythikos has the ability to obtain RP points! Generally speaking, every completed/finished RP will earn RP points, provided it's submitted and approved.
Obtaining RP Points by Writing/RPing
Ideally, you will have completed an RP, a Solo, or closed out an Abandoned/Forgotten RP. To signify this, each RP post should have a "closing" post, as well as a post that end the RP officially, like -fin- or -finished-. If possible, adding [FIN] to the RP Title would be helpful, if possible.
Once you have a completed/finished RP you are welcome to redeem RP points. Essentially, every word is 1/1000th of an RP point. This means for every 1000 words, you gain an RP point. If you have RPs that run over, or have some odd change, you will be granted partial points.
These points are cumulative so you will continue to accrue so long as you continue to produce RPs, stories, or art! (Yes, Art can be submitted as ARP!)
The more you participate, the more you earn.
RP Points can be turned in for perks and prizes so it's good to keep them logged! Staff will track them, but it is helpful that you also stay on top of the points as well!
RP Point Short Version
RPs must be finished to count. Someone must change the title to [FIN] as well as a wrap up post and -FIN- indicator at the end of the RP to dictate its closing.
Players should individually submit the RP for points and will be rewarded for points.
If multiple players are involved, each player must submit their own!
For every 1000 words written, you will earn a single RP point. However, staff will reward your RP with partial points even if they don't make it to 1000 words. Ultimately, staff will divide your total word count by 1000 for total RP points.
Players must track their own RP points. Staff will keep records but generally speaking it is up to the player to also keep their points up to date.
Once submitted, the RP cannot be re-used as a Completed RP . New RPs or must be created to earn points.
Staff will approve the word count as well as the points earned in the thread!

Art RP Points
If you commission or create art of a character, each finished piece will yield RP based on how detailed a piece it happens to be. Each piece should be FINISHED -- doodles or sketches aren't accepted for RP points!
Finished Linework: The most basic form we'll accept is finished linework. This means lines are clearly defined, they aren't scribbled or doodled quickly. It needs to be finished in such a fashion as it could be used in a coloring book. Obviously, some styles are more sketchy or stylized -- if you're not sure if your line art qualifies, ask staff, and we can answer! We'll include examples as we get them. +1 RP Point
Shading: If the piece has shading, you will earn an extra XP point. +1 RP Point
Highlight: If the piece has highlighting, you will earn an extra XP point. +1 RP Point
Color: If the piece is fully colored, you will earn an extra XP point. +1 RP Point
Background: If the piece has a fully colored and designed background, you will earn an extra XP point. +1 RP point
Shop Association: If the piece is directly inspired by a shop prompt, a shop RP, or shop meta -- please link the RP/prompt/metaplot in question for an extra RP point!
Additional characters showcased in the art will allow the character's player to earn the equivalent RP points. If the person creating the commission is part of the shop, they will get partial credit to apply to their own pets!

RP Points
You can use RP Points to earn other types of perks for your characters and in-shop benefits! These may seem a like a lot of work but there are multiple avenues to earn them, from Art to co-writing! And if RP isn't your thing, some of these options will be given away or contested out as colorsts see fit!
Please remember all taurs in Mythikos are uniquely created so they all take time. That is part of the expense!
0-9 RP Points
XP Points 3 RP points
While it's more beneficial to earn XP Points through prompts, ARP, and shop giveaways and games, you can also turn in RP points for stat points! The benefit of earning through RP is you can put the stats anywhere and for any character!
This is a 3 to 1 conversion! For every 3 RP Points, you'll get a single XP point!
10-20 RP Points
Random Colorist Choice Familiar 15 RP points
Have one of our colorists design you a random familiar! [Common through Rare]
One Time Use Guaranteed Random Breed Crystal 15 RP Points
This crystal can be given to any character of your choosing. They are one time use! If they are "Equipped" during a breeding raffle and you win, it will guarantee one offspring will come out a randomized breed, Common through Rare! Once used, you lose it!
This cannot be stacked!
Random Breed Crystals cannot be used to obtain demi-gods or gods.
One Time Use Guaranteed Throwback Crystal 15 RP Points
This crystal can be given to any character of your choosing. They are one time use! If they are "Equipped" during a breeding raffle and you win it will guarantee one offspring will inherit something from a previous generation -- either colors, items, powers, breed, or traits! Once used, you lose it!
If the parents are 1st Generation and have no shop-created throwbacks, then the Colorist will simply grant a surprise color, item, power, breed, or trait of their choice!
This cannot be stacked!
One Time Use Guaranteed Blessing or Curse Crystal 20 RP Points
This crystal can be given to any character of your choosing. They are one time use! If they are "Equipped" during a breeding raffle and you win, it will guarantee one offspring will be ensured to win a blessing or curse! Once used, you lose it!
This cannot be stacked!.
21 - 50 RP Points
Palette/Semi-Custom Common Familiar 25 RP Points
Have one of our colorists design you a familiar based on a palette or inspiration image! [Common through Rare]
Random Colorist Choice Taur 30 RP Points
Have one of our colorists design you a random taur. No Blessings/Curses allowed! [Common]
One Time Use Guaranteed Family Crystal 30 RP Points
This crystal can be given to any character of your choosing. They are one time use! If they are "Equipped" during a breeding raffle and you win, it will guarantee one additional offspring to your final number! Once used, you lose it!
This cannot be stacked!
RP Point Familiar Breeding 30 RP Points
Have one of our colorists design you a breeding!
Uncommon Random Taur 35 RP Points
Have one of our colorists design you a random taur. No Blessings/Curses Allowed! [Uncommon]
Common Palette/Semi-Custom Taur 40 RP points

Makeover - Alternative Art 60 RP Points
Have one of our colorists create you an alternative version of one of your pets! This will not allow new trats to be added that haven't already been obtained. However, you will be allowed to give up to four preferences of things you would like to see (or not see) on the new pet -- this could be a ref for a new hairstyles, ref for new clothing, etc.
Colors, markings, traits, and magic should match/be present as best the colorist is able. New colors, markings, trats, and magic are not allowed. If you would prefer new colors and dyes you will need to obtain that through XP Point Re-Color Makeovers!
The pet should be at least two years old! We would like the original colorist to get some time to shine!

Rare Palette/Semi-Custom Taur 65 RP points

Semi-Custom Blessing/Spirit Blessed Random or Conversion Pet 75 RP points
Have one of our colorists design you a pet based off another B/C Pet or Adoptable / Character / OC or some sort of palette. You will get up to 4 Requests (either wants or avoidant list) for the colorist to keep in mind! Up to two (2) Blessings & Curses are allowed!
