Yosha - 2
Tracking the scent was easy enough, but Yosha knew he had to be careful. They’d already come across a path a few nights ago that carried a few scents, and he wasn’t sure if this land was occupied or not. So far he hadn’t managed to run into any groups, but if he messed this up then there might be bloodshed. That much he wasn’t worried about, though the pups in his group would suffer for it.
As a wolf, Yosha traveled closer, allowing his senses to carry him until a sound caused his ears to stand straight on end. Several things became abundantly clear all at once; his prey was close, they were injured, and if he didn’t strike soon others would come. The wolf didn’t spare a glance at the others at his side before taking off toward the sound, and what he found was quite the sight. A tailed stallion, but not a shifter. His breathing came in harsh, heavy pants as the smell of blood nearly overcame Yosha. There was a curl to the wolves maw, an almost excitable glee, but when the other wolves came in low at his sides he straightened. “You reek of fox blood, but I see no pelt.” Yosha’s voice was a deep, guttural rumble; almost as if the sound were pulled from hell itself.

Yosha - 6 [FIN]
For a moment Yosha thought he might have a ‘fight’ on his paws. He took a halfstep back, if only to give the other male the chance to stand, but didn’t last. The shifter watched the kitsune fall into a heap at his paws. For a moment the wolves didn’t move though when one of the younger ones took a few steps closer a harsh snap from Yosha kept them at bay. He should just let the pack have at him, but what he said was true; something hunted them that Yosha, begrudgingly, couldn’t fight on his own.
Closing the distance between himself and the fox, Yosha angled himself as far down to the ground as possible. Adjusting himself so that the others could help get the injured male onto his back was a task, especially since he didn’t want him to die in the transfer, but once the male was secure Yosha got back to his feet. “You found a trail, didn’t you?” Looking to a few of his scouts, the smaller wolves nodded. “Go, lead the way.”
He may have been leading them into a trap, but what choice did he have? Something had wanted this kitsune dead, possibly the same thing that was attacking them, but those wounds…they didn’t look similar. Or maybe they were? Yosha couldn’t examine them further without wasting time. So, instead of thinking about it, he took off after the pack.
