Viska was fuming, she and Denali had royally been screwed over in their last little raid. They'd staked out a silly group of wimpy soquili and their familiars, demanding they hand over their goods it had been going well, the stupid soquili had been too timid to fight back, in fact there had been no fighting at all to begin with.

"What the hell went wrong" she snapped at Denali, not angry at him but verbally lashing out. "How did we manage to get beaten by a bunch of wimps?" she let out a roar of frustration and kicked the nearest tree, she HATED when things went like this, they were usually so better prepared.

Denali was just as upset as Viska was, and understandably so. They shouldn't have been beaten by that pack of cowards and small fry and yet here they were. Outmatched and out tricked, with little to no goods to show for it. Growling, his tail lashed a bit like an angry cat the more she lashed out at him. He knew she wasn't mad -at- him but it still felt like it. "I don't know. For the last time I don't KNOW." he snorted, stomping his own hoof into the ground, spraying bits of torn up earth and dirt. "Things were going well and then suddenly THEY JUST WEREN'T." he reared his head back, about yelling at the sky.

"Nothing like that should have even happened. We had it all planned out. It was supposed to be PERFECT. We should be ROLLING in goods and loot right now!" he spat again, turning a circle, absolutely fuming.

Viska flattened her ears when he yelled back, "UGH!" she snarled "This is stupid" .. she knew he wasn't actually yelling at HER, but it was enough to set her temper off and she kicked a nearby tree, shredding bark, that felt good, so she did it again and again

"How did some stupid BRATS outmanoeuvre us?" she snapped, initial energy spent but she pawed at the ground much like Denali was doing. "We scouted everything.... right?.. there weren't any signs anyone else was nearby except that wimpy herd, where the hell did those little brats come from anyway?" she growled, they'd been so prepared, they'd planned and had come thiiiiiis close to taking their loot when the Usdia, backed by one extremely large, mean looking pawed Soquili had shown up and ruined EVERYTHING.

"Everything" Denali snorted as she asked questions, adding quick retorts and responses in between.

"No one else should have been there." he added, though she continued, talking over him.

When she had finally stopped talking, he let out an exasperated groan, simply just getting out all of his pent up anger. "That big THING ruined it. It was HIS fault. I know I double checked areas and surroundings. That big pawed freak must have been in the wrong place at the wrong time." he admitted, which only made his fur bristle more. It really should have been the perfect plan to get extra food for the winter. They were bigger than those little usdias. They wouldn't miss what they had planned to take. It wasn't like Viska and himself had planned to rob them blind.

Except now they had failed and a second attempt likely would be well guarded against. "So then NOW what do we do? We are out of food and fun and I doubt they'll be open to a second attack." he snorted before he spun around and kicked an opposite tree with his front hooves. "GAAH."

Viska continued pawing the ground, a deep furrow forming beneath her hoof, "Definitely that ugly freak's fault" she said, "We had everything planned out perfectly, it never failed us before"

Right now she wanted to go back and kick the daylights out of the large winged, pawed soquili that had ruined EVERYTHING, their perfect plan... She let out a large sigh.

"We could try again ... wait til the stupid brute leaves?" She mused. "It's not like we can't fight, but against claws and a guy that large? ... a strategic retreat was in order, it wasn't your fault im sorry for yelling" she said to Denali, her ears flat, showing she was still very angry but not at him. "We either wait a day or two and try again, or we find some other poor sap to get our supplies from"

She sighed again, either plan was going to be difficult, but they'd already put so much work into scamming THIS bunch, it would be so much more effort to try it again with another herd "Maybe they need to be taught a less, not to mess with Team Visali.... Team Denska?" she chuckled a little bit.

Denali was still furious but he managed to calm down enough to acknowledge her apology. "I'm sorry too." he said before he felt his bristling furs start to lie flat. Slowly at first, as tension was still pent up in his shoulder muscles. "I just don't know if they'd be expecting us. What if they expect us to think this way. To wait it out then try again and that freak is still there?" he sighed, shaking his head as he began to pace in a circle, wearing a groove into the dirt.

At the mention of a team name he had to give out a chortle. "I like team Visali." he added before he continued on with his plotting. "Gah its just still so frustrating! Like we put so much work into this, I just don't know right now. Do we try again? How long do we wait? Do we try a different time? Approach? Angle? Something??" he blinked, searching Viska for answers he just couldn't seem to come up with right now.

Viska snorted "I don't think the big guy is that smart ... the bigger they are, the dumber they are" she said when he began to pace "He might hand around today, perhaps... we could try scouting again, and now we know he can fly, we can makre sure we're better hidden" she sighed, she just HATED when plans went wrong, especially such a GOOD plan as this one had been.

She snatched at the grass as she grazed slightly in irritation, she'd have much preferred some of their spoils from this job instead of grass, but she was getting peckish... Hangry even. "Team Visali then" she said, chewing carefully as she thought over his next words. "We wait until tomorrow when the sun is low, about sunset maybe, when the light will make it harder for the big ugly guy to see us if he's flying where he has more light, we raid them again tomorrow" ... she said carefully, "And now we know the ugly stupidhead is there, we can plan for him too, one of us spooks the herd to the trees, where he can't fly among ... if he's still with them... we could make a corral or something too while we wait" yes.... this might work....

Denali listened to her, nodding his head in contemplation. His right forehoof tore at bits of grass as she ate, almost mimicking her movement. "That's true. He can't fly well in trees." Denali said, having not even thought about that. And at night, surely he wouldn't be able to see well. Unless he had some kind of stupid night or x-ray vision. "I can blend in well in the shadows." he added, his black, even with white stripes, helping to hide him. He could move in ways to make it seem like he was a simple trick of the light...or perhaps even something deadlier.

"Alright, so sundown then. But if we want to coral them we need to pick the perfect route." he added, snorting out a few last bits of frustration. He was beginning to calm now, but he was still irritated, still rather upset that they hadn't had their spoils now. "You flank left, I'll flank right? If we plan this right....which we had... gah." he spat, momentarily getting off track again before sighing, lashing his tail a bit and taking a moment to calm down. "If we plan this right, there's a point where the forest meets the beginning of the mountain side. We can aim to trap them by that wall so they don't really have any other way to continue forward." he said, looking at Viska for her thoughts. "With you on the left and me on the right, we box them in, we both cover the middle. Make sure they can't run." he said, frowning thoughtfully. "As for the big stupid. Maybe we get him stuck in the trees on the way." he hmmed, not sure.

Viska nodded, Denali, despite his lighter stripes, was definitely more able to blend in than she was, sometimes he just stood still and looked invisible among the brush, she'd always admired that, ever since she'd met him, that and his ruthlessness and similar goals as herself.

"We have time to plan, it wont be dark for a few hours" she smiled, eyes glinting as she looked at Denali "We need to teach them all a lesson, not to cross Team Visali" she chuckled "Yes, if he gets involved again, the trees will make it difficult" she laughed again.

"Let's get started" she added, throwing her head back, the last of her frustration gone, now they had a new plan of attack. It would work this time, she was sure.
