Important Notice:

First thing's first, a message to the newbies, and a reminder for the oldies:
There is a reason we allow Designers to apply with two different Models:
You can only enter the competition with a Model you've auditioned with.

If your first choice is Model X and your second choice is Model Y, you
cannot enter the competition with Model Z, even if your designing skills
are greater than others who've submitted their Auditions with Model Z.

And though I encourage you to choose a Model that connects with you,
I also advise that you to keep an eye on how many other hopeful Designers
are applying for that same Model. There are always 2-3 Models in
every cycle that potential competitors will flock to because of their obvious
'Western-based' beauty.

Please, my fellow Gaians — Please be open to other types of beauty
out there. Fashion doesn’t know boundaries so why limit yourself?

If my pleas for equality don’t work then perhaps my data on past cycles will
be of value: By the end of Auditions, those two or three Models that
exhibit 'Western-beauty' standards usually have about 30 submissions,
while others have literally one or two. When your odds are 1/30, there's a
good chance you're not making the cycle.

There are no 'ugly' Models in the line-up. They're all made beautiful, and
each one has her own strengths and weaknesses for the Designer to
work with. Also remember that winners of a challenge get the choice of
changing their Model with the eliminated Designer's Model. So even if you
secure a place in the contest with a Model you're less fond of, there may
come opportunities to change to one you desire more.

In the end, there is only room for one Designer per model,
so use your submissions wisely.
