The lights in the arena dim down as Ain't About the Money hits the PA.
Ahhhh, ahhhh
Ahhhh, ahhhh
blue and white lights begin to flash while a thin layer of smoke comes across the stage and down the ramp. Flames spring up along the set and the crowd begins to cheer

Finally the former World champion steps out into view and the cheers grow louder. There's a slight change in his attire. Instead of his usual vest, he's wearing a t-shirt with a dragon across it and the words Drakonian Empire across the top of it. Drako Damone looks out over the arena for several moments before starting to make his way down the ramp

Drako stops at the end of the ramp and look around the arena for a few more moments before he turns and walks up the stairs and into the ring, moving to the center to stretch out right into his old pose. Pyro shoots off behind him, a nice flash to the past for him and he straightens up again

The Soaring Dragon walks to the corner and steps up onto the second turnbuckle, covering his eyes to look out into the crowd of cheering fans.

Finally, Drako steps down and takes off the tshirt before standing in the corner to await his opponent

The smoke continues to stay in the arena, as a mysterious figure emerges from the stage.
The crowd begins to boo as Mister Mirage enters the arena, at a calm, slow and menacing pace.
Mister Mirage stares at Drako from afar for a moment, before he asks for a microphone.
MM: "You may be wondering what a Mister Mirage Mystery Match is, Drako Damone.
It is very simple.
At various stages of our match, I am legally allowed to use a mystery weapon, a collection that has been selected for me to use by my fearless leader, Cartwright."
Mister Mirage points towards something at ringside as he makes his way down the ramp.
MM: "Do you see The Big Wheel?
When the timer ticks to zero, the wheel will be spun.
Whatever it lands on, I get to use.
Not you."
Mister Mirage approaches the wheel and spins it himself.
MM: "Let's see what weapon I will begin the match with."
Round and round the wheel twirls until it finally stops on one of the many letters that make up the sections to the wheel.
MM: "Mystery Weapon M."
A member of the ringside crew gives Mister Mirage a Morning Star club.
Mister Mirage slowly climbs the steel steps and enters the ring with it.
JR: "That's legal?!
Does Cartwright want Drako butchered tonight?!"
King: "That's one way to stop him from challenging Omen at Survivor Series!"

Drako rolls his eyes. He's not entirely surprised by the stipulation. That being said, Mister Mirage has made one slight flaw....he expects Drako to just let him come at him. As soon as he enters the ring, the Soaring Dragon charges forward, aiming to meet him stepping through the ropes with a dropkick to the chest

Drako rushes Mister Mirage with a dropkick as he is about to enter the ring, his kick finding Mirage's shoulder and head, causing him to turn towards the apron and drop to the outside of the ring!
King: "Hey, does Drako want a match tonight or what?!"
JR: "Would you let someone start the match with a foreign object in their hands, King?!"
King: "Rules are rule and I always follow the rules!"

Drako rolls out under the ropes after Mirage. On the outside, he attempts to kick the weapon out of his hand and away from them, then kick him straight in the side of his head.

Drako takes advantage of the situation, kicking the Morning Star away from Mister Mirage as he is returning to his feet, but Mirage grabs Drako's second kick and looks to twist his leg with a Dragon Screw!

Drako got his main goal accomplished there, but then a dose of irony as he's taken down with a Dragon Screw. It's a slight tweak to his leg, which isn't favorable, and he rolls to the side to push himself up again, the slightest hitch in his step as he does

Mister Mirage watches the hitch as he stalks Drako, thinking that he should target the leg again with a Flairesque Chop Block strike to the area!

Drako is caught with one of his own favorite maneuvers, his knee clipped by the chopblock and knocking him to the floor

Mister Mirage looks satisfied with the results of his work, as Drako clutches his leg on the ground.
The Mysterious Stranger wants to roll Drako in to the ring to officially start the match, now that he thinks that he has the advantage!

Drako finds himself rolled into the ring and rolls to the center before beginning to make his way back to his feet. He grits his teeth in irritation, quite determined to kick Mirage's teeth down his throat before the night is done

Mister Mirage slides in to the ring after his opponent, he doesn't want Drako returning to his feet, so he tries to keep him in place by grabbing the attacked leg and slapping on a classic Spinning Toe Hold!

you know the problem with a spinning toe hold? You have to lean down to grab the opponent, and it leaves you a bit open. Maybe to a surprise counter. This time, in the form of Drako reaching up and attempting to roll Mirage right into a small package pin

Drako grabs a hold of the back of Mister Mirage's head and rolls him up on the mat, surprising The Mysterious Stranger.

Mister Mirage kicks out, his assault on Drako's leg delayed for a moment!
