Hey all! Recent join, first-time posting. I'm interested in starting to get involved in contests, but I want to be sure I'm doing it the right way.
With the current mini-contest(s) as an example: you need to include certain items/equips/features on the model, so they have to be in your entry.
When it says not to hide, edit, or cover them--- would that include the use of singlecutters that impact the way that item looks without removing it? I would assume so, but I want to be sure because I've seen so many amazing things that different singlecutter items/equips are capable of.
Of course, this would only apply to/work on some types of items anyway -- like for instance, if a certain top needs to be included would it be permissible to use a singlecutter that crops it or alters the sleeves or creates rips in it?
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Hello, and welcome to the guild!
You would be correct that in mini challenges like Puzzle Play here specific items are required, you are not allowed to use cutters or anything to change them. Can't do a different color either, unless specifically stated. That is part of the challenge with them. Likewise in the main contest we don't allow the competitors to use such things to change the model's base features. It's all part of the challenge! biggrin

May I know if using skirts/ballgowns/gowns which may cover some/most parts of a required leg item for a challenge is not allowed? c: The item could still be seen but barely, however, it isn't altered with cutters whatsoever; just mostly covered via layering.
