(This is a Solo RP for 'The StarGlass' Kheleha Tinnú Ninquëtildë, please do not post. Thank you.) *Cert Pendingrácina Q. adjective. broken
An adjective glossed “broken” appearing in the Markirya poem of the 1960s (MC/223), apparently a passive participle of rac- “break”. A very similar plural adjective racine appeared in notes associated with Quendi and Eldar (Q&E) essay from 1959-60, an element in the term rakine tengwi for consonants without an associated vowel which Tolkien translated as “stripped or deprived signs”.[Teepee]

Quote: Kheleha Tinnú Ninquëtildë is a KiriGryphicorn mare, the second daughter of the Lord of Stars and his Lady of the Light Court, their fourth child overall. A mare that many citizens of the Courts call The Star Glass. In this latest encounter with the Lord of Stars, her own sire, she is commanded to appear at the tumbled stones at the foot of the mountain and wait to be addressed. The cliffs here are a mix of volcanic black and weathered grey stone, the high peaks frozen and thick with snow. At night the stars almost seem to rest on the peaks, closer to the earth here than perhaps anywhere else.
The stars overhead stand and witness when the living Night, in all his rage falls furiously on her. A furious stallion venting his anger over the loss of yet another of her siblings. It is getting to the point that even an outsider can see that the dark stallion is losing his grip on the herd, on the power he loves more dearly than any kin. Though his damaging of so many of them had passed largely unremarked, as had their subsequent punishments... a visible pattern had emerged. The young Royals have been harshly disciplined and broken, locked away, banished, driven off...
And the herd has begun to notice. Perhaps to question, or perhaps merely to resist. Mild disobedience to commands, inquiries into missing Princes or absent Princesses. The Crown Princess has been gone for some time, they are coming to realize, after several minor Lords and Ladies had become distant first and then disappeared. Quietly. As quietly as the First, the Crown Prince that had disappeared when he was young... Hurt and locked away, they might realize.
And now she has been hurt. After this, there is no way she can continue to stay. 'The StarGlass' Kheleha Tinnú Ninquëtildë Wordcount: 306
