Words that just don't look right.

You ever have words that bug you because they look misspelled, even though they aren't? Post them here.

My most recent one is 'stretch'.

I don't know about you, but 'attach' and 'separate' always make me cringe when I see them. The first thing I think is, "AUGH, SPELL CHECK."

Publicly. I have always spelled it "publically" and only recently found out that it's spelled the other way. My way looks correct, yet isn't.

Since I'm a dumb Iowan, I seem to always say "thet" instead of "that." Whenever I write "that" I spell it like the correct way, yet wonder how one can get "that" out of the word "thet."

I have one word for all of you: "Though." A simple, common word, that looks like it fell into some sort of meat-grinder-esque machine.

The word 'mischievous' always bugs me. I spell it wrong all the time, and it looks wierd to me! eek

hm..well if you write out a word a bunch of times it starts to look funny
but a word that always gets me is "misspelled"
it just looks so..wrong..

That must be awkward. xd How appropriate.

I tend to miss out ones of the Rs in "appropriate" when I write it. It somehow looks right with only one of the Rs. (Even then, sometimes I miss the first one, sometimes the second one. sweatdrop )

Tired. It's simple enough, but I often spell it wrong. Same with weird, only not so often (I remembered them that time).

"Weird" and "Economies" always bug me. I think that "Weird" should be spelled with the "I" before the "E". In "Economies", I want to change the "IE" into a "Y"
