I can't quite figure out the blue prints for the body though.
The center pieces rotate almost 180 degress...
I need to see Karasu's back. o_o;

Edit: Not any time soon, though.
It's a very difficult practice. Karasu is full of pullies and has many joints.

Karasu looks like an old wood. Sometimes clay-like in appearance.
I'm not sure what sort of wood that would be...

Nope. It is wood. Which amazes me even the size is the same in a way...I found pictures of him dancing with it! XD I must find them again!

He could make it a puppet that he could control but that's... a tad difficult.

I'm not quite sure...but that would be awesome. Yes. Most likely polished and finished to give your puppet that extra shine. I think he also made a Kuraori.
