Ok! I don't Hate Fall Out Boy, I LOVE FALL OUT BOY! The Only I don't like about Em is all These Preppy Fat Chicks Runnin around Thinkin they're Hott N sayin "I LOVE FALL OUT BOY!!" jus Cuz they Heard "Sugar We're Goin Down" I Love Fall Out Boy. Mostly Cuz I Live in Chicago n they were one of the 1st Bands I got into. Half the People who say they "LOVE FALL OUT BOY" Haven't Even Heard of "Evening Out With Your Girlfriend" Most of Em Never Went To a Local Show BEFORE they were Big! they Only Know about Em Cuz Of MTV. It Sucks For Us Fans Who were there BEFORE they hit it Big.

I was there after Fall Out Boy hit MTV, does that make me less of a fan?

Yeah it does suck but oh well. If we were REALLY good fans, we wouldn't care. Loving Fall Out Boy comes with many stereotypes and we just have to cope with them even if they group us into some stereotypical MTV watching, wannabe rockers.
As for me, I've loved Fall Out Boy since they were free on iTunes. biggrin

i saw fall out boy dead on arrival video and fell in love with them but i couldnt find anything of there(befor my mom said i could have a comptar) and then i saw sugar on MTV and i knew it was them and now i love them with all my heart and hope they get really far! (well they really are but...) i know a lot about them and own all there cds now from PR EOWYG TTTYG UTCT and the little extars in between

I knew about Fall Out Boy before they went big.
I surf through random sites to find new bands,
and thats how I found out about them.
I got kind of mad when Sugar We're Comming Down came out on the radio, mainly because a bunch of preppy girls would walk around trying to sing it and sing the wrong lyrics. Like, my friend Jordan has their From Under The Cork Tree CD, and she keeps singing number 1 (I don't feel like typing the title for some odd reason..) And she keeps saying "We're only lawers but we're the best." And she also thinks they only have 1 cd.
So as a true fan, who liked them before they were big,
I feel like strangling all the girls who like them only because of their main hit, and havent heard older music of theirs, or songs not on the radio.

it doesn't matter. Preppy chicks come and go, but at the end of the day, it's the true fans that are the most important. Preppy teenies give the bands money (like, they buy out all the merch) but us poor hardcore fans give them support, and in the end, that's what REALLY matters.
so who cares? let FoB have their fame, they diserve it.

Okay, I still don't understand the point of this thread. It's to discuss things you don't like about Fall Out Boy, but is really a thread to discuss how you don't like Fall Out Boy's fame, which means ragging on the fans that don't fit into the generally accepted perception of a good fan.
I really don't like the idea of ragging on anyone at all.

I know me too....i hate how all the preppy people are all like "OMG they are SOO hott and that Pete guy is the hottest of them all!! That lead singer...i think his name is Patrick or something like that...is just sooo CUTE" and yes they have said that. I hate it but i deal with it. I have almost every one of their cds but one. i even have their biography one. I just got it...and it tells you alot about the band members and what they did to get to where they are now. So for now i am gonna let the preppy people have their fun because FOB deserves all the attention it is getting. I have loved them since the beginning and i don't plan on not loving them anytime soon.
