I make mostly parodies and comedies, but most of the stuff I've released has really poor video quality. The stuff I make now is much better, I just haven't finished any of it yet.

I usually never make paradies or comedies because I haven't had the inspiration for them. I have alot of AMV's but I made all of them when I was fooling around with the program I use to make AMV's. I haven't been making them very long but the quality has improved tremendously. When I have a link to a sample, I'll post it here.

Favourite type of AMV: serious/dramatic stuff if it's well done, but it depends on what kindof mood i'm in. other times i prefer parodies and funny stuff.

I have a couple of amvs on amv.org, but most of them are experimental and very bad when i look back on it.

If you want to watch anything, i'd recommend Yearbook since it's the least painful for me to rewatch minus a few things i did out of laziness and even knew i shouldnt have done while i was making the video.

Favorite Animes: Sekai Trilogy (Crest, Banner and Banner of the Stars 2), .hack//Liminality and //Sign, Air, Ah! My Godess (TV Version), Chronicles of the Lodoss War.
Favorite music? Well.. that's hard. I like most styles with the exception of rap, neoR&B and country.
AMV Types? Anything that I find entertaining.

History with AMVs... made a few when I got really bored. So for the most part they tend to be random and done in about 2 hours or less. Though recently thought of working on a 20min+ AMV, with voice overs in between songs... long story. but there are a lack of non-subtitled anime episodes out. ^^
But in general I suck at AMVs mostly due to the fact I put little to no effort in to them. Love watching them though. I have,uhm, six AMVs made by me and some shorts I have done so far, only two uploaded however.

I'm the quieter, simpler half of Aquiline Studios which is made up of me and my boyfriend, Scintilla. We're both NGE fans and the majority of our videos feature that series in some why. His biggest NGE video to date is "Alternate Eva Opening: EvaBebop", which has appeared in a few contests. Mine is "These Angel Hearts" which I believe is the only AMV so far to feature Rei and Kaworu in a somewhat "romantic" relationship. If there are any others, I'd love to know where they are.

I am a Windows Movie Maker user and so my videos are a little lacking on the effects side. But I think I've made some pretty good videos with it. It's really not the program...it's how you use it.

I have a strong mind's eye and I can visualize exectly how I want a video to look...and then I see the actual footage and the timing is all off or the movement is not quite right. So it creates a bit of frustration and I occasionally feel imprisoned by the resources I have. But each video has been a learning experience and I learn some new tricks to improve quality as I go. Plus Scintilla is always helping me since I don't fully grasp the very technical aspects of making an AMV (such as scripting through AVISynth). smile

Proudest acheivement: Slayers Cabaret made the semifinals in the VCA Awards in Lip Synch, Comedy and No-Effects.

I'm also hosting my first AMV contest at this year's No Brand Con in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, so I'm excited about that. I have a couple AMVs in progress including my first Utena AMV done to a video game remix called "Chekan winter." Phew.

I've made somewhere around 100 amvs. Most of them are either sappy romance, dark romance, comedy or dance. My newest obsession for making vids is Pretty Guardian (yes, I know it's not anime but it is based on the manga sailormoon) and I'm working on a comedy Fruits Basket one right now.

I don't have my vids hosted anywhere right now, but I am working on it. (okay, I actually have a couple on amv.org, but they're so suck-worthy I refuse to link to them)
