While some of you will care, others will scoff, and some will call it positively dreadful, I've been working closly with two of my friends to make a book or manga depending on if Eric will draw for us. So far, I have completely made the world and history of my planet and the countries within it, and I thought I'd share a chuck of it with the people here.

Races

Humans - The normally proud and noble humans that ruled over Alven for centuries have more recently become power hungry and corrupt, thusly distrusted highly by all other races.

Dwarves - The noble dwarves make their homes under the otherwise uninhabitable country of Goren. While normally defensive towards all other races, after a few ales, they'll trust just about anyone. Short, Strong, and when not intoxicated, quite wise. Always trust a dwarf, unless they're in a bar.

Gnomes - This race is commonly referred to as "The Gods Little Mistake." These small humanoids reside in the icy lands of Rezonef and the arid desert Yajen. While socially adept creatures, they are shunned by the rest of the world as being incomplete or impure and have been forced to the south, living in silence in the frozen and superheated wastelands. Unbeknownst by the rest of Alven, the Gnomes have far superior technology than any other race by countless years and are willing to share to those who ask... For a price...

Elves - The mystical elves haven't changed much. Still standing tall with their abnormally pointed ears, they take up their homes in the ancient forest of Demoran. Still, despite years of conflict, they still hold themselves above all other races and care little for the affairs of man. They share a tightly knit relationship with the sprites, to the point where an elf without a sprite companion will befall the ravages of time much quicker than normal.

Sprites - The sprites are immune to the effects of time and share a symbiotic relationship with the elves. The sprites, when paired with an elf, actually grow in magical strength as opposed to an unpaired one. These creatures are physically weak and easily killed, however an enraged sprite could destroy an entire town with its magic. It is unknown where these tiny flying baubles of light originated. The sprites, for better or for worse, are constantly hired by the other races as Shad?een detection, since it is only under their natural light that the deadly beasts can be seen...

Drow - The bane of all that exist, even themselves. This sect of Elves was forced from their homes in Demoran to live out the rest of their lives in the lifeless Underdark. Allied with the dreaded Shad?een who also dwell within the Underdark, these creatures loath all that live on the surface and wish them nothing but death. The elves, on the other hand, are different. The Drow have take many steps to wipe out the elven race completely, and it is only thanks to their operations on the Lunafall that give their vision of a lifeless planet meaning...

Orcs - These green skinned brutes of the west are similar to the Drow in their intense hatred of all else, but are different in the fact that they cannot think logically on their own. Driven by an ancient bloodlust, these hulking warriors slay all in their paths with their enhanced strength and speed. Unfortunately for them, they consider the Drow equals, and chose not to fight them if they ever meet on the field of battle, while the Drow will slay them without a second thought.

Goblins - These tiny green merchant wonderkins are renown for their services as merchants. They are friendly to all other races, so long as you can buy their friendship that is. They are also one of two known races to have ever traded with the Drow and lived to tell the tail on more than one occasion.

Felten - This amphibious race is known only to reside on the islands of Ocilen, keeping to themselves and avoiding the turmoil of the rest of the world. While usually tolerant to other species, the Feltens have an intense hatred towards the Anorel, the roots of which are unknown. They are also one of two known races to have ever traded with the Drow and lived to tell the tail on more than one occasion.

Anorel - This slowly dying sect of humans that have shape-shifting abilities calls the country of Demoran their home, although their species is mostly intertwined within nearly every country. Their shape shifting powers are a supposed gift from the moon goddess Lutril and receive a heightened sense of awareness when the full moon makes itself visible. They do not share the hatred that the Felten put forth, and have taken measures to strengthen ties between the two races.

Buren - These large, beastly creatures of the great badlands of Ritaulre are a peaceful peoples made up of scattered tribes. The Buren resemble horses who have taken on human form, giving them an odd appearance. This race stands slightly under the elves in height, and would prefer to take care of the land on which they live, rather than fight for it. The Buren are friendly to all races, including the vile orcs who use their knowledge of herbs and other healing agents. The drow, of course, are exempt from this equation

Mystical Races

Feltinis - This race is all but extinct. Only one or two tiny villages of these mythical creatures remain on the entire planet. These bird-like creatures of the sky take their place in Alven?s history as creatures of divine origin, able to bend reality to their will. The exact location of the last remaining Feltinis remains unknown, but many believe they live on the roof of the world, under the protection of Oduun.

Shad?een - Most unlike the Felinis, these creatures are very real and thrive in the northern country of Oduun, where the dark king Xemon commands their numbers with an iron fist. Dark and shade-like, these deadly shadows move with chilling precision and are undetectable to all but the sprites...

Countries

Estunian Empire
Dominant Race: Humans
Home Race: Humans
Type: Grassland
King: Renais von Feril IV
Queen: -None-
Capital: Ulganoth
Notes: Nothing noteworthy about this country, other than it?s vast and nearly endless sections of grassland. The Estunian Empire sits by, waiting for the most opportune chance to begin their drive of world dominance.

Goren
Dominant Race: Dwarves
Home Race: Gnomes, Dwarves
Type: Mountainous
King: Ganagen Silverbeard
Queen: Palenca Silverbeard
Capital: Balmora
Notes: The majority of the major races live under the mountains, while creatures such as dragons and wyverns live atop the mountains. Home to the only known Gnomen Waygate on the planet, which is connected to the other which is located in Ritalure.

Demoran
Dominant Race: Elves
Home Race: Anorel, Elves
Type: Forested
Queen: Terina Quickwater
Capital: Pristenben
Notes: Even as time ticks on, the elves share this land with the timeless sprites, ruling over it?s many lush forests with a tight watch. Unfortunately, it?s southern shores dense forests are being cut down by an orcen logging camp, Swiftburn. The elves have yet to take action against the orcs as their camp is dangerously close to a known entrance to the underdark where their merciless rivals, the drow, lurk in wait...

Comu
Dominant Race: Drow
Home Race: Shad?een
Type: The Underdark
Capital: Lunafall
Leader: Verina Shadowsbane
Notes: Home to the worlds only Lunaport, an ancient Feltinis artifact left over from long ago... it has never been answered as to why such divine beings would ever set foot inside such a demented place.

The Lunafall
Dominant Race: Drow
Home Race: Feltinis
Type: Lunar
Leader: Verina Shadowsbane
Notes: The lunar base of the Drow, connected only to Alven by its sole Lunaport. This base is totally unknown to all other races. Even the Shad?een are blind to its existence. Here, safe from the prowling eyes of the elves, the Drow are free to conduct their twisted research on things ranging from torture techniques, to large-scale ballistic missiles...

Yajen
Dominant Race: Gnomes
Home Race: Orcs
Type: Desert
Leader: Menwing Shorter
Capital: Gnonergin
Notes: Home to the Gnomes, and rightfully so. While it appears to be an arid desert, the Yajen desert is home to limitless mineral and ore deposits, which are more than welcome by the engineering gnomes.

The Republic of Ritalure
Dominant Race: Humans
Home Race: Humans, Goblins
Type: Grassland
King: Jacob Terranas XVII
Queen: Saria Terranas
Capital: Hyl?tes
Notes: The republic of Ritalure is a well respected country of power in the eastern hemisphere. Ritalure puts the people before politics, and has a relatively small military in comparison to their increasing militarized neighbor Estunas. Ruled by a mostly benevolent king and queen, Ritalure is a prosperous nation that other nations can only dream of becoming. Home to the Temple of Sages, where the world was said to have started.

The Badlands
Dominant Race: Orcs
Home Race: Buren
Type: Barrens/Rainforest
War Chief: Lathral Wolfsblood
Capital: Taurir
Notes: The great badlands south of Ritalure is known around the world for it?s complete and utter lack of political infrastructure. This lawless zone has been claimed by the foul orc tribes who battle one another for spotted patches of land. These clans are, however, led by a single leader who supports this senseless violence as training.

Faland
Dominant Race: Humans
Home Race: Unknown
Type: Tundra
Leader: Hierarch John Williams VI
Capital: Yexil
Notes: This frozen country of the north is home to spotted human villages who survive on the bounty of the sea. While this country has escaped the political eye of the world, it is the center of attention for religious purposes. Home to the Temple of Yexil, the supreme being who created the planet of Alven, makes this country an ongoing hotspot of activity despite its chilling surroundings.

Ocilen
Dominant Race: Felten
Home Race: Felten
Type: Oceanic
Queen: Bekah Sliwaltril
Capital: Corteal
Notes: This country is comprised of the islands of Regec, Patsra, and Moore. While the Felten have claimed these islands as their own, their capital city of Corteal is located at the bottom of a vast coral reef that none but they may enter. The three islands, however, are easily accessible by all races so long as they have a boat. Regec and Moore are heavily populated with all races, but the Felten government has set a strict neutrality policy to keep violence between the various races down. All bu the Drow oblige these rules.

Rezonef
Dominant Race: Gnomes
Home Race: -None-
Type: Arctic
Leader: Council of Elders
Capital: Gnomergeist
Notes: This country of gnomes is completely unknown to all but their fellow gnomes located in Yajen. Here in the lifeless tundra, away from the watchful eyes of the humans, these gnomes differ from their desert brethren and have chosen to harness the power of magic as their own. Located in their capital city of Gnomergeist is the Temple of Auroil, the only known place capable of harnessing the power of Ultima. Many have tried to tame this immense power, none have succeeded.

Oduun
Dominant Race: -Unknown-
Home Race: -Unknown-
Type: -Unknown-
King: Xemon Xerces
Capital: -Unknown-
Notes: This country located at the roof of the world is a complete and utter mystery to every country on the planet. Ruled with an iron fist by the malevolent King Xemon, this country is feared above all else. While it?s true inhabitants is unknown, it has been proven that this is now the source of all Shad?een, who are also being controlled by Xemon. Protected by the Seed of Protega and the Life Tree, none may enter or even see through its borders. Rumors have begun to spread about Oduun being the last remaining home of the Feltinis.

Teltracil
Dominant Race: Dwarves, Feltinis
Home Race: -None-
Type: Uninhabitable
Leader: Anlet the Wise
Capital: Snowrise, Darnasis
Notes: A completely uninhabitable wasteland of snow and ice which covers 98% of its borders. The only known village is the dwarven port of Snowrise. The dwarves have taken interest in colonizing the country to their north by making great tunnels beneath the polar ice caps, but have found the ice to be several miles thick. Progress has been made, since Snowrise is just as grand and spectacular as their capital city of Balmora. Unknown to all but King Xemon of Oduun, this county is the final resting place of the legendary Feltinis. Residing in their capital village of Darnasis, the Feltinis struggle to survive with the never ending attacks from the hoards of Shad?een sent out by the evil king. The Feltinis know that their race is nearly extinct, and have taken little measures to reverse this...

The Xemon Incident

During the Age of Rebirth, a small Drowen boy by the name of Xemon was created. Fourth Son of Maxen and Esvita, Xemon was to be sacrificed to the goddess Eilistraee, the Dark Maiden of the Drow as he was the fourth child. Xemon, however, was spared by Esvita, who sacrificed herself in place of her son. Maxen, while honoring his partners wish, loathed his son. Xemon had a natural hatred of the elves, but also of his fellow Drow. Xemon sought to purge Alven of all life and create a new race that would outstrip all those before it. At the age of 18, Xemon left the Underdark and headed north towards Estunas, dark magic as his chosen weapon of protection. As he neared Pristenben, he could feel a strange energy source emanating within. Currious, Xemon investigated this strange entity. After days of carful calculation and planning, Xemon was able to slip inside the capital building of Pristenben. Once inside, he blended seamlessly with it?s natural shadows. It took him hours to shadow walk his way to the grand chamber since it was there that the strange energy seemed to be residing. Once inside, he silently killed several guards stationed in the room, banishing their bodies to the twisted Neather from whence the Orcs once came.

Inside a small mythril pendant that was placed inside the throne of the king, was The Seed of Protega. The elves had apparently not discovered it, most unlike them. Xemon pilfered the sacred artifact from the chamber and fled the capital with little regard for stealth. With the devils of Pritenben at his heels, Xemon fled to the Path of Argon where he was sheltered by the Felten. After weeks of recuperation, Xemon left for Ulganoth, a newly acquired vorpal dagger in hand. The journey to Ulganoth went relatively uneventful despite his wanted poster being posted in nearly every town in the area. Upon entering the mighty human capital, Xemon slowly worked his way into the throne room. Revealing himself as the king of the Shad?een, Xemon struck and killed King Arthas with his vorpal dagger, before he turned his blade unto his queen, killing her without hesitation. Xemon was captured by the royal guards and thrown into jail, but he was freed by a suicide assault by his fellow drow. He has since fled north and established the country of Oduun. His current whereabouts are unknown.

There's a condenced version of what I've written just in case we have some greedy minded people in here, not that I'm pointing fingers or anything. I may or may not transform this into the main guild RPG, it all depends on what me and my friends decide to do. If I do put it up, I have full maps of the planet, towns, villages, sea routes, currency exchange, pictures, and descriptions I can put up. This is by far my biggest project, and will hopefully end up being profitable for not only me, but two of my friends. Viva la Tolkien!

Comments, suggestions, flaming, anything really is helpful really since we're still trying to iron out a few wrinkles that won't go away. Do remember though, this isn't everything I have...

Ooh...sounds pretty cool. You'll be a popular sci-fi/fantasy writer one of these days! Who knows? This could be the next Star Wars!

There are a few question marks in there that you might want to fix though. Just from pasting the script from wherever to gaia.
