enterra GabbySilverwood Heh... I tend to tune out commercials. I have to, or I end up growling at the TV. (And I mean that figureativly, not litterally.) I do too. I get annoyed at the total lack of imagination. i wouldn't say commercials have a lack of imagination-skittles and burger king, for example, often confuse or even scare me-and my family is very weird and scary.

Jette Blacque Gomer Tymur I haven't seen the commercial, but that does seem right (Anyway, when my English teacher was ranting about how a McDonalds commercial was using improper English, she says it appeals to the general audience because most people have horrible grammar skills(maybe). That's probably not why they used improper grammar, but it could be) And if it is...that's scary! Catering to illiterate people because there are illiterate people... *shudders at the thought*
This is also why American movies are not as intellectually stimulating as movies made elsewhere (e.g. Canada or England)
