Yes, the last volume is out. If you've watched the anime...do NOT expect the same ending from the manga...they are drastically different.

In the manga both Misa and the devil girl disappear forever. However in the anime, they both come back...at least Misa does...I forget because it's been a few months since I last watched it.

The manga has a bittersweet ending while the anime ends with a happy ending.

I've read all eight volumes to Pita-Ten, and I do agree with you neochichiri. The ending to Pita-Ten is bittersweet.
