So I entered the Avatar Arena last week...

I entered with this avatar: and dubbed it "I'm a Magician!". Yeah, it's not terribly good, but it's not terribly terrible either. Judging from my comments, most people either:

- voted low because it wasn't "magical" enough, i.e. I didn't use any wizard robes or hats
- voted low because it looked "plain", i.e. I didn't cover myself with a hundred donation items
- voted low because the hair didn't match, or
- voted high because of the hair glitch

One guy even said "It takes real magic to put pants and a shirt from
the saem set together....wow...But the making your
hair float gets a better rating..."

So, okay, using TWO items from the same set is cause for automatic low rating, but a glitch is auto-high-rating? confused Crazy raters...

Well I had an avatar using the Angel Bow and it matched quite good.

But oh no!

It was when the donation items just came out so I got down voted severely just because of that.

And plus I wasn't wearing a shirt and I put the Ruff and pirate ruff on at the same time.

Stupid n00bs.

"Demonic, seen it. 4"
And I had said nothing aobut Demonic, and All I had was the fish teeth, I admit it looked evil maybe, but Psha, all cuase it Had black as one of the main colors. talk2hand

It was with this crazy purple/blue/black avatar that cost me like a bajillion gold and lots of time.
My ratings were really high.
Then I put a link in my sig and they dropped all of a sudden.
I think people just didn't like me. D':

There's a bunch of sets in the arena this week. I saw one guy with just the 2 robot items from Barton and that's it. Another guy wore all the Jack 05 items and a hockey mask. rolleyes

And the responses were as follows:
"u noob"
"red no match"
"you suck"
"too plain"
+ various other noob responses

end thoughts: dont join the avi arena unless you get on page 1, otherwise only rates youll get are from kids with no lives that can click 0 through 500 pages...

Yeah, some people suck at rating. They just don't understand that this is a themed avatar and expect it to match.
