[Pancake Eater]

Okay, so I have a few poems... they're not the best, but I'll post 'em anyways! and I'll be posting little ideas, and all that!

They'll be in my next few posts.  

[Pancake Eater]

Spring

Spring is coming
Boy oh boy!
I just can't wait!
And here is why.

The snow starts melting.
Grass starts to show.
Maybe grow a little.
The sky sends sprinkling rain
That comes splashing down
And hits my face.
Flower buds pop up.
Then the flowers bloom.

Warm weather hits the area,
The blue skies showing
With their delightful clouds.

Children are now outside.
They've gone out to play.
Some play in their yards,
Others go for walks,
Some ride their bikes,
And the rest are participating
In many other activities.

So why don't you,
Enjoy the Spring,
While you can,
While it's here!

Dog

We found a dog.
We named him dog.
He was mysterious
As mysterious can be.
His fur so white,
A brown patch on his eye.
Such a cute dog!

When we brought him home,
He sat in a corner,
He slept in the corner.
That corner was where he stayed.

But on Monday,
I decided to take him on a walk.
I hooked him up to his leash,
And started walking.
Dog, didn't budge,
He didn't move a single muscle.

I looked at him with anger.
He glared right back at me.
It bothered me.
So I placed him on the porch corner.
He didn't move
Is what I saw.
It was quite strange.

On Wednesday I was playing outside.
Dog just sat there.
I looked over at him smiling,
My smile turning into a frown.
I hadn't realized this,
But Dog was only a statue.
