I dunno what to feel. o.o

He was kinda like an idol of mine, because when I was younger I wanted to be a zoologist... And he liked animals, too. whee

But I also hate him cuz he made most Aussies seem like retards. -_-

This is just... Weird. gonk

So, what do you guys think about this? Are you sad that he died? Or are you happy? What're your opinions? gonk

And do you think his children will grow up hating sting rays? Poor kids... They'll only see their father through documentrys and the sort. crying

THE Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is dead.

He was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said. It is understood he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest.

He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary and that's when it occured.

Ambulance officers confirmed they attended a reef fatality this morning at Batt Reef off Port Douglas.

Yeah. I just found out too. x.x

I'm shocked, but also shocked that I'm shocked. I mean, look at the stunts he pulled! (*Runs around in verbal circles*)

I really did hate what he did for Australians' international images but still, it's sad. 44's way to young to die, but I suppose you can't say that he didn't do anything with his life. >.< (Poor structure AND double negatives. Wonderful)

I don't really know what i feel either. I feel a little sad, i thought he was a great man, and a great character.

When my friend first told me i didn't believe him, so i checked a news website and sure enough, he was telling the truth. neutral

Yeah I found out too. It is sad that he died even if he gave Australia a bad image. But at least he died doing something he loved.

I read it online and thought it was a joke....But then again, yahoo7 and ninemsn don't tend to run jokes for stories. It would be in bad taste.

So the rest of the crap they spout is totally cool?

Pfft.

I dunno, I'm a little bit un-phased by it, with the conflicting interests I had with his internation image. However, he was a family man, with a great adventurous spirit. He cared about the environment and the creatures within it, and for that I admire his work.
