Things you never do/use in the Sims 2.

Is there something that you never do/use in the Sims 2?

For me, it would have to be the "Brag" and "Share Interests" social. I've tried bragging once, but for some reason, my sims skip the animation. So basically, they stand there with negative signs over their heads.

I always get negatives whenever I do "Share Interests" also, so I never use it.

I also don't use the "Write a Novel" action. I heard it takes a long time to write a novel. I just don't have the patience for that kind of thing.



So, what things do you never do/use in the Sims 2?

Well same for bragging with me, I don't have them write in their diary's either.

i never have them play pranks on anyone. it ticks me off because so few of my sims are amused by them and they usually end up with me having to send a sim away from skill-building or something else to go mop up the floor.

Well I never ever buy Myshuno for my Sims because I hate the way they all crowd around it, especially when I want them doing something else.

I don't tend to do the whole "Bragging" thing either but I will use it if I want my Sim to piss somebody else off. Besides Myshuno I don't think there's anything I really Don't do on the Sims because I can use some interactions to annoy other Sims, just like I use some to impress them.

Well same for bragging with me, I don't have them write in their diary's either.

I use that sometimes. I just hate how pissy they get whenever there's someone else in the room and they do the "Don't look" animation.

I never direct my Sims to write in their diary, but half of them do it by themselves anyway. I don't mind it, it gets their fun up.

I only use it when I'm playing Uni. If I have a Sim in a dorm it's really useful because you can just click on someone else living there, who you don't control preferably, and say "Influence to Write my Term Paper" and then it's written and your Sim is much happier...depending on the Sim. But other than that, no, I don't use it either.

I never use my Downtown. My main neighbourhood is one with no Downtown, or Bluewater Village, but I've moved all my favourite lots into the neighbourhood, just because it annoys me having everything separately.

I never use any of the additional neighborhoods, like the downtown, shopping district, or college.

Just cause they take too long to load up. I need a better computer.

And I try to avoid pillow fights and hacky sack games. And pranks.

I do, however, have my sims write novels. It takes 30 hours, which isn't bad (especially if you use maxmotives/motivedecay off, so they do it all at once xd )

"Play Pranks" never shows up for me. Perhaps it's in an expansion pack?

Anyway, "Share Interests" gets on my nerves, especially when I spend alot of time reading magazines to get certain interests up, and then they lower.

I've only used "Share Interests" once, though. And that was the last time I've ever used it.
