well for one thing gophers live in cities, which i kinow because we had a giant one living under our neighbor's house and it would come out and raid everybody's flower gardens which made my other neighbor, a skinny little 90 year old lady, so made she got a broom and whacked it all around the block which was amusing but it still came back the next day for more flowers.
