The Land of Elyon are one of my favorite series. Does anyone else read them?
In case you don't know them, it's a fantasy-related book. It's about a 12-13 year old girl named Alexia and how she must fight off the evils that are trying to invade her home. It's also about how she needs to obtain these rocks that lets her speak to animals.
Also, did anybody read the book Kira-kira? It's another of my favorites. >.<
In case you don't know, it's about a japanese girl and how she gets rejected by the American people because she's japanese. It talks about how she lives her life through the many challenges.

I haven't read Kira-Kira, but i have read Land of Elyon and LOVE it!! I'm looking for Beyond the Valley of Thorns. I seem to have misplaced it, but I know where the other two are.

I thought Kira-Kira was a very sad book. But I loved it all the same.

No, I have not read those books,I've heard they are good but (no offense) they seem a lot like pulp fiction.

I haven't heard of them, but from the way you describe them they seem quite interesting. I may check them out the next time I go to the bookstore.
