I thought you might know how to help me. Yes i copied and pasted this from a post i made in the forums. Deal with it

So.. At school my senior project is to create a line, journal the process and sell bags designed by me. Now don't get me wrong. I can make a good purse. But I usually make them out of random objects, swatches, rubbers and what not. I have a new concept for a line and am not sure what fabric to get and what it is called.

I need something firm, not too expensive something that will take spray paint well and allow for the paint to drip, and white. Just white. I will then sew the bags and spray paint them. Drips and splatter galore.

I am lost as to what this fabric is called and if it exists.

If you can help me please do so.

Thanks.

Sounds like canvas to me. Broadcloth is another name it goes by. It's super sturdy and can take a royal beating, comes in white, and would take spraypaint well.

I second that, canvas is probably the best thing to use.

I'd have to say canvas as well. Muslim might work, but I'm not so sure.

Tee hee, muslin

That would probably work too.
