Auto-Lights?

Alright, I never really paid any attention to this, but what the hell is the "Auto-Lights" command? ((It appears if you click on any type of lamp/lighting)).

How do you use it?

I think that means the light automaticly turn on/off when 7:00 (when sun sets/rises), but I don't know I normally just keep them on 24/7

Auto Lights turns the lights on when someone enters a room after dark, then off when they walk back out.

Well, how do I get it to do that? I clicked to activate them, but the lights are still on.

For some reason they are only partial auto lights. When it gets dark they will all turn on and they will only turn off in a single room if a sim goes to sleep in that room. I think MAXIS said something about doing it so it wouldn't kill the computers of people with low end graphic cards. I wish they would make it optional so we can have full PROPER auto lights.
