I have a confession to make.

I am a first year college student ( 18 )...and I realized something...

Ever since my 8th Grade year...i have put on a mask...I have hid my true self.

BUT NO LONGER!

Yeah, it creeps my family out, but i realize i'm 'goth' at heart. If you will. Rather...I am simply dark at heart.

smile I'm happy with who I am, no matter what anyone has to say about it. And yes, I go to a Private Christian College, but I dont' care what anyone has to say. I'm me!

I want to appologize to the community for hiding my true self. I may not need to, but I feel that for that period of time I failed you. I will make it up to the gothic community though! I promise! smile

My friends realize that it is the true me though, so they've accepted me. ^_^ ::ish happy::

	Dead_Ed Congratulations on coming out of the goth closet. 3nodding I think a more appropriate term would be 'coffin'. XD ♥ Glad you've realised that you shouldn't pretend to be who you're not. It feels great to be you and no one else.

	It's great that you're no longer masking your true soul. 3nodding I know how difficult it is when you're trying to deny your heart and hide your soul... it is most certainly not a good way to live your life. sad I never really 'came out of the coffin', but more or less gradually found my way in the world.
