I'm the only goth I know!

Most of the goths I know, I've met online. Off the internet, I don't have any close friends among the black clad masses. I don't know how common this is, so I've got to wondering...

How many of us are really involved in the scene, and how many are just quietly being gothy on their own?

Do you have a lot of goth chums?
A mix of goth and non-goth?
Or are you a solitary practitioner like me?

I'd say I'm pretty much with you, Veru.

My best friend ever is the closest in interests like mine, etc...

But she's more of a metalhead.

I'm by nature more of a solitary person.

Also, my area seems fairly devoid of any goths.

So even if I was more gregarious, I have none to join my ranks.

I only have about four or five. The rest are just, not goth. It's kinda wierd though since where I live, there are what seems to be, thousands of goths. But most of them are bitches or d**k heads, so I guess it doesn't really matter. xd

Although they're all different groups of friends, I know a good horde of goths, about 40 to 50% of the island's amount of them, I'd say (Though I may be exaggerating that percentage a bit XD)

Well i have a few goth friends, but im mostly solitary. Though the branches of those few go qiute far. I dont trust the branches.

none. none at all. i don't know any other goths except me. my one best friend is punk, but that's the closest it comes.

I'm more into my own scene. thingy
Cus i'm not goth anymore
but it does get quite lonely...
and i sttill wear my "goth" clothes

I have no really goth friends. A few of them appriciate goth stuff, but their not that into it. It's not like it matters though, i think it's cool we all have our own way of dressing razz

The majority of my friends are either goth or alternative, I seem to assocciate better amongst these cultures as they seem to be the more open minded 3nodding

You probably know other goths, but you don't even realise it. In fact, these people may not even know that they themselves are goths. I just found out that one of my art teachers from high-school is a goth, for example.
