Best rod and bait?... humph..
I'd say the best rod and bait would be: Distance Plus, and grade A bait xd

Tho the tunas ain't easy pickin'.. I have lost some tunas with Distance Plus, cuz they're strong.. sweatdrop You could sacrifice a bit of distance, and use Strength Plus, i's easy to reel in large fish with it..
Tho You can use any rod that can be cast far enough for larges..
And I mostly use D bait.. And get pretty much tunas.. You can use F bait too (when it ain't degraded)

yes!
the plus rods have a wider space for the lines
which makes it easier

but there have been people who could catch fish at Durem with just a basic rod surprised

you can catch tunas in Gambino
it's a large fish so you'll need a good rod
like distance or somethig...

I've caught a total of 13 tunas, but I caught them all with a performance plus. I know somebody who caught a dicy tuna with grade F and a basic... shortly after I caught my first dicy. We've been aiming for 'Inos ever since. Still haven't caught any...

Anyway, I think that the answer to your question would be, in my book, performance plus with grade A bait. Although it is expensive, it makes reeling in those tough buggers a breeze once you get used to it. Once I got THREE tunas in a single bucket. Icy, and two dicys. So, good luck getting those tunas!
