Suggest Shojo manga!

Hey! I've been reading a lot of shounen manga lately.. and i've gotten bored of it.. i need shojo! i've been reading a lot of yuu watase's work lately.. anyone have any suggestions on what i should read next that is out in the states?

I'm a big fan of Hana yori Dango/Boys over Flowers. It's pretty long, but it's a fabulous story. A good shorter series is Paradise Kiss. It's only five volumes, it's got a good story, and the artwork is stunning.

parakiss is only 5 books? how sad... i love that series... but, i'll look into that other one ^^

OH!!!! Beauty Pop and Skip Beat! are really good!! whee However, both are really new, so Beauty Pop only has one volume, and Skip Beat! has 2 or 3 volumes. sad

Another good, long series is Basara. It's not a typical shoujo romance. It's focused on a girl who takes the place of her twin brother to lead her people during a revolution. I'd recommend sampling it prior to buying, since the art is not super attractive (it's great for the story, but at first glance...) and the story is different then most of what's out there.

After watching the Anime I think Princess Pricess is pretty cool, although the first volume doesn't get published stateside until the end of this month.

Well, if you just want shojo, there's not a lot of different titles that are long, i. e. Shojo Beat. I mean, Ouran High School Host Club is probably the longest one and it's only 7 volumes... but I do recommend OHSHC.

i've finished with fruits basket (well reading it all.. it's finished in japan so yeah) um.. dn angel i've read a bit.. a good series ^^, ai doesn't interest me much... absolute boyfriend i've read all of it.. wasn't happy with the ending and.. mm.. shall see what mars is about

@waters: i might check out ouran the manga later cuz i've seen the anime.. i just wanna see how the manga ends ^^

My fav. manga. 5 vol just coming out in January. I think there may be 8 volumes?

Anyway it is really good, I love the art.

I believe it is Shojo.
