Australian charities helping babies

Hi everyone. With the sumer holidays comming up I'm going to have more time on my hands to sew and knit and learn to crochet.

I love making little baby clothes and I want them to go somewhere they're needed. My aunt is having another baby, but she has eight tallented daughters who are making stuff, so I'm just making her a blanket. I was wondering if anyone knew of an Aystralian charity that that took donations of baby things andmade sure they were given free to babies that needed them? I live in Queensland if any one know any locally.

I have googled but I'm not sure what to look for, I tried 'Australian baby charities' but didn't get much.

my nanna would know because she does that stuff all through the year so they can be sent off around christmas time.
I think your best bet would be to go to a charity places like redsheild and asking them.
and there is this thread in my craft guild, but I am not sure if that would help much because most of my guild members are northern-hemispherites
