Breeding?

Okay, I've been trying for hours.. no matter what I do I cannot get my pets to breed. When I click my pets, either of them (One Boy, One Girl) it doesn't say breed or anything to lead to that.
Does anyone know how to get your pets to breed?

do you have a pet house?
they need that ^^; *pet bed doesn't count must be a house!*
they also have to have a 25 Daily Relationship between all of you
meaning they should have 25 DR for eachother
and you should have it towards them
when that happens you'll get a try for puppy/kitten or something like that
after that its really easy

Yes, you need a pet house, then just get the owner to click on the pet and it says "try for puppies with..." or something like that. You need a good relationship for it to work, and if it's not coming up as an option at all...either the pet is already pregnant (like if it's the family crittur that came with the Sims 2 Pets) or you don't have two different sexes.

I got the option to breed not very long after my pets moved in but they weren't successful until their relationship all around got better.

Hah, I remember when that happened to me. All the relationships were fine, and then when I wanted the dogs to breed, it didn't have the option. It took me a loooong time before I realized I didn't have a doghouse..XD

AGH! It Doesn't work.

Both my dogs are friends as well as the owner is friends with both, one's male, one is female.. I have a dog house..
What's wrong?!
One is elder is that a problem?

yeah
if the female is an elder i think she can't have any
but if its the male then he should be able to
or the other way around
can't remember! ^^;
