Anywho the chapter. Yes Naruto made a big whole. Yes I want to see how he did that. And hurrah we see Kakuzu's affinity! Oh...but kakashi kinda chidoried him....Well Choji can roll into a porcipine thing now! Thats good.
Im expecteing torture next chapter, that is if Kakuzu is really dead.
EDIT: Bah got the names mixed up. Fixed now though.

Just of my thoughts of this chapter:
arrow I was reading the chapter while listening to "Possession" by Sarah Mclachlan and the climax of the song hit right at the point where Naruto said that something like "wind can also help save fire". That nearly broke my heart. sad (Off topic- I wish I could make an amv of Naruto with the song "Under Pressure" by Queen.)
arrow That was one big crater that Naruto made. eek
arrow I've been curious about the chakra affinities for a while now, so I'm really glad about some of it being explained.
arrow I laughed when Hidan exclaimed, "Kakuzu (sp?), help me I can't control my body!" Kind of reminds me of George Jetson screaming for help. (I liked Chouji's "spiked meat tank".)
arrow I love what Kakashi says at the end of the chapter. heart

Im expecteing torture next chapter, that is if Hidan is really dead. you mean Kakuzu? no, he's not that easy to defeat (at least that's what I think), for next chapter I guess he's gonna make himself of steel (you mean this is his affinity right?) melding with Kakashi's arm (wild imagination of me XD), then attack him with both arms.

Kakashi is the only one able to use it, and it is named as such because he once cut a lightning bolt with it. This jutsu requires a larger amount of chakra and better chakra control. This is exemplified in their respective appearances. Whereas One Thousand Birds creates a large mass of chakra in one hand that appears near-white, the Lightning Blade is considerably more concentrated and appears in the normal blue color of chakra.

Anyway, I like Hidan a little more. I just hold an icky grudge against him. He's funny, though.
Shikamaru's plan, as usual, was totally predictable. I'm disappointed.
Kakashi OWNED. Why didn't ANYONE mention him KILLING Kakuzu? At least almost killing him. That was THE s**t.
What do you all mean by affinity? Sounds like a weird translation to me. neutral The word means a natural attraction to someone. Hidan didn't feel an attraction to anyone. Maybe he was shocked when Kakuzu was stabbed. But anyone would have been. The guy is fecking steel.

Whoo hoo. More gore. Still, though, it can't be over for Kakuzu yet. Other wise all these Akatsuki ninja will be dropping like flies! It'll seem a little rediculous.

Maybe a cross of that with Xena Warrior Princess. surprised ........Wow, anyone know where that translation came from? It's even in the title and it doesn't make any sense.
