Do you have np left over after buying an expensive item?!?

I've been wondering about this question for awhile. I've asked on the boards and I got varied answers. Some people would buy the item right away. Others said they save up at least double.

Which do you think is more practical?!?

(P.S; I want to buy a morphing potion and I have barely enough, so I'm seeking help as well. xp )

I never save up for things. I change my mind so quickly.

I'm actually saving up for a Kadoatie right now..eventually a Plushie Paint Brush. I usually save about 20,000NP in the bank before I buy an expensive item. If I really need something, I can usually earn about 25,000NP/day anyway.

LOL. I make about 15-20k per day, from playing games. You must restock, huh? xp

I should probably wait until I get at least 1.8million before I buy the 800k item. It'll take another 3 or so months, but it really stinks having nothing. confused

I try to keep at least 200k in the bank.

Im not that good at games, so I use the Neopets Stock Market alot. It seems to work well for me smile

I just earn np straight forward. I don''t have time to wait for the Stock Market. I commend anyone with that kind of patience. xp

I always save up just a little bit over the most amount so I have something left over to feed my neopets

I save at least 300k in my bank before I buy an expensive item. I'm not too good at games so I don't play them much.

I try to save at least 500k when I'm going to buy an expensive item.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy anything large unless I had reserves in either the bank or stock market.

I want a petpet that I can not find for sale anywhere thats what I am saving up for because if I am having this much trouble finding it its going to cost alot

I usually buy the item as soon as I can. Once I actually had some np left over and I spent it all on other things anyway. The only problem with that is it sometimes means I lose my motivation to make np for a while, because I just have none...but I get over that eventually.
