Glitch

[Infinity-Nevermore]

My very first family in the Sims 2 is glitched. Of course, I am very unhappy. I sent the father out for a spin, and he hasn't come back. He's been gone since last night. I was going to move out the family to the Family Bin and move them back in, but I can't move anything in or out of my inventory. Buy and Build modes are down too, and all this is only with this family. Can they (and my career rewards) be saved?

That sounds bad. Buy and Build modes usually become disabled when there is a burglar, fire or just as a car is pulling onto/off of the drive. The only savable thing may be the family but with none of their belongings if you just move them out. If the game wont even let you do that then I have no idea of what to suggest. If it does work then you can always use a cheat to regain their aspirational and career rewards.
