Hokay so heres the story. My sister got the Sims 2 Pets for christmas and we're like yay! BUT the computer was restarted (my brother had to reinstall windows cause it like wasn't working), so of course, Sims was erased. Well, we have regular Sims already installed because I'm obsessed with that game, but we need to get Sims 2 installed to play Sims 2 Pets. Wheres the problem? Well, we have all the 4 discs for Sims 2, but no box! I need that code on the back and can't find it! Do I have to buy a whole new one? sad

You can get a new one. you have to write in to EA/Maxis. You have t o pay for it, but not as much as a new game would cost.
From EA.com:
Q. How do I get a replacement serial number?
A. Lost or Missing Serial Replacement: If you meet one of the following criteria, you can send a request along with a nominal fee to Electronic Arts for a replacement serial number.
--The product is 90 days past the purchase date --The original serial number has been discarded or lost'
