Fox and Pikachu vs Fox and Falco

Ok my sister's boyfriend always, and i mean always, beats me in SSB. He is usally Fox or Falco and i am Fox or Pikachu. He seems to always beat me! Any advice?

((Note to all readers: I am talking about the first one for N64))

Sorry, I can't help you. I suck at it too. Try blcoking attacks and send him flying with the Down B move... If that's in SSB N64.
